***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

Ross nor chainz can do what future does and i like both of them, Future actually has a better chance at replicating there sound than the other way around.

Future IMO is far and Away light years ahead of many of the people in his lane. He reminds of a guy like Jeezy, he may not be the best technical rapper but he has many songs describing real situations, also he has an amazing ability to create melodies, can do many different styles of records & i completely believe that he practices and works on trying to become better at his craft unlike a lot of the other cats he's with.

He clearly does throw out some ******** generic trap **** every now and then, but when he's really in his bag dude creates lasting music. Hell people hated Honest and four years later i'm still playing records off of their, for a ***** with such a repetitive subject matter he finds a way to refresh it and make the music last.

Couldn't have explained it any better regarding Future in comparison to those other bums who was supposedly "taking his spot".

2chainz HAS already done what Future did...

Ross to an extent, has. Future can't make a "Tears of Joy" "Port of Miami" "Mastermind" type of Album. If you say he can, you're telling a bold faced lie. Codeine Cowboys and TRU REALigion are already Futuresque style mixtapes that Chainz has done. Future can't make a "Deeper than Rap" or even more current, Black Dollar.

Listen to "Take Advantage", ironically, that song features Future.

I've heard it all "Future can do what Ross does".

Don't mean to beat a dead horse but, Future the same dude who got confused with Designer by a HOARD of his own fans. 60% of Futures' longstanding fans thought that was Future's song. You've never had that type of confusion with Ross or 2chainz.

Future adds another 5 years to his careee just by switching his beat style. He riding the current wave dry.

Wanna see him do a project with Rico Wade or 3 Stacks executive producing.

I'm lost on what your point is, what are you going on about?

numbah1grimey numbah1grimey just hates Future for smashing his girl and leaving a codeine dripped FBG chain as well as a pair of Gucci flip flops under shortys bed. He's hurt.

This is him lashing out.

Also, dude somehow hates Future for being 33 and rapping about what he raps about....but is a fan of 2 Chainz who is 39, and makes similar music content and production wise.

Grimey gon Grimey . Pay him no mind.

That "rap is a young mans sport" been dead.

2Chainz and Ross was mid 30's at their peak. Them _'s are the same age as Mase. Nobody cares, as long as the music is good.

The funny thing is that if Wale, 2 Chainz, Drake gave their opinion on rap, and they weren't actual rappers...they would be called old, like this young idiot below.

The fact that we know who Rob Base is (i actually don't) proves his point though

There were always trash rappers

The difference now is that social media allows them to extend their careers and people CHOOSE to continue to **** with them

Some of them fall off (when's the last Rich Homie Quan song u heard) like their predecessors

and Yachty has only been popping since february, he very well could be a nobody this time next year

but i don't see the point in being mad that the kids are CHOOSING to like this stuff...there are no more gatekeepers or music media to force it...they may have a hand in gaining visibility but no one is stopping people from listening to Yachty and Cole or Uzi and Kendrick (or even Vic or Badass)

Chance had one of the biggest projects of the year

Drake, although his rapping has regressed greatly from 11-13, he still throws you a few double entendres every now and then

Sean, Wale, etc.

It's funny the hip hop purists always talk about there being no balance anymore but it sounds like y'all want ****** to rap about the black plight 24/7 and never have fun

who are you mad at? kids for being kids and not trying to force themselves to like lyrical rap? if that's not what the youth wants then that's not what they want

move around y'all ****** old man

The fact you called Rob Base they shows you're not knowledgeable enough about them to give your opinion. EZ Rock was the DJ, they had one rapper, Rob Base.

It's funny you think calling someone old is a diss. Am I supposed to be offended by that? I didn't think I was going to live to be 25, I'm happy with my age, because I thought I wouldn't make it. That shows how stupid you are. Are you going to stay the same age forever? If you don't die, you'll be my age also.

The big difference is you're going to get older, but you'll never be intelligent.

That "Y'all old" card is corny. Drake is 30, Kendrick is 29, Future is 33, Kanye is like f'n 40. All of 'em older than me.

Are they old? They're older or around the same age as most people in here.

That's like calling you Yachty and Uzi fans soft, moist weirdos.

Man I wish Ross never fell off. Dude was honestly one of my favorite rappers since Port of Miami.

I still support cause that's my guy. But that mafiaso Ross was perfect. Ross skating and then strings dancing.

Future is A1. I definitely prefer him to chainz but chainz is cool too

Ross aint even really fall off in terms of quality tho. He just became irrelevant after he released that trash Hood Billionaire album. Black Market & Dollar were pretty good

The fact you called Rob Base they shows you're not knowledgeable enough about them to give your opinion. EZ Rock was the DJ, they had one rapper, Rob Base.

Unless you're referring to a different post than the one you quoted, he didn't do this.

I don't give a **** about none of them old ****** but hey real deal salute to you for beating their statistics and seeing old age OG. Being old isn't an insult at all.

Hopefully I'll do the same and I definitely won't be giving a **** complaining about Lil Du Rag Flap 3000 when I'm in my Wonder Years. I'll stay in my lane and bump my Ye, Drake, Chance, Future, Wop, etc. and let the kids be kids

Lmao at forefathers of a genre built on rebellion and innovation being mad at kids rebelling and innovating. I hope I never become a corny old *****.

Y'all sound like y'alls fathers and grandfathers who though Nas talking over drums and melodies lifted from other musicians was noise and "not real music".

What exactly is being innovated?

But you ARE corny. You're avy is that of a guy who you dislike (ASAP Rocky) photoshopped to look white, due to opinions from a magazine article. That's groupthink/follower mentality. You aren't even an independent thinker so news flash, you've always been corny.

A corny insecure dude, who says "one day, I hope I never become corny"

Please, don't have any kids bruh, we've got enough brainwashed lousy men out here

What?

I love most of Rocky's music, his first tape arguably a classic for this decade, first album was straight and second album was underrated. Not really feeling the Cozy Tapes aside from Telephone Calls and the Skepta joint, but that's not really Rocky's joint.

I just thought the pic was funny given his comments. When have I been said to "dislike" Rocky?

Even in the situation that the pic comes from, my opinion on it was that he wasn't right or wrong because that was his perspective from being rich and famous for the past 5 or so years. I just said he should probably say no comment and keep it moving if he's not educated on the topic.

Literally...what the entire **** are you talking about?

Y'all love literally just making stuff up
