Chance the rappers music is trash af and unlistenable but people pretend to like it because he was on tour doing stadiums with the great white hope eminem

Even kanye was never all that great but since he was rolling with jay z he became hot.

I be on soundcloud listening to amazing music breh. It hurts so much knowing that they will never make it while people with substancially less talent will.

Might as well just let music die at this point

Kanye was a bad example. He put in a lot of work producing so he may have funded the promotion/video stuff.

Cause back then you needed mad money for every aspect of it.

To be success in music you need cosigns. Whether it be to pay for **** or credibility and familiarity to you intended audience.

Publicist cost and arm and a leg. Lawyers too.

Its cool to see him so excited about music again. I know he was pretty happy about MCHG so (which I thought was decent) He seems even more excited to drop this which is nice.

Your work ethic determines your final destination in this hip hop business. Trash rappers make it because they flood the market with catchy nonsense. I can't argue that J didn't make Ye' who he is today but the world would have known who Kanye was eventually. In the peek of his run he flooded the industry and made a few features on other popular rapper's albums, a lot of it is fire too.

Can't speak on Chance the a rapper since I've never heard his material but he seem's to be the face for the trendy hipster hip hop scene along with Asap.

I felt the same way when I use to peep cats on soundclick in the early 2000's but looking back the ones who stuck with it eventually made it.

Kanye improved as a rapper, but Through The Wire, much less his production.

And I find Chance ok. I found his project to be better than Vic Mensa's. There is no one opinion on music. What you may not like, the next person might.

News flash for all you "I never heard of so and so types"...

The internet is a big place. By the time you get to the point where you can even get big blog features, artist co-signs, radio interviews etc...it means you've already gained a considerable following.

If you just now hearing about her cause she's getting shouted out...you're probably one of the type of people that "co-signs" are meant to attract.

Take Makonnen for example. Even the NT post was made before the Drake feature...but let most people tell it and that was his first song and he didn't exist before that.
