***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

Funny thing is, i just finished watching a PBS documentary on Malcolm X and the 60 minutes interview with Malcolm's daughter and Farrakhan. I have my own feelings on that. Maybe i will give the this interview a shot.

informants were in the nation of islam and the black panthers

informants were around malcolm and martin

you are like my friend who is in NOI

You dont address what is said. Yes informants were there, has nothing to do with the video i posted and the words he said.

He has many wise words, but i wont forget.

I heard what he said

I took it as he felt guilty for speaking negative towards malcolm

I'll have to re look at everything surrounding that time which is quite a bit

Was traveling to different parts of the world, learning about different cultures and the shared struggle contribute to the demise of Malcom X ?

yea, him

Cthagod will bring it up a few times here and there but it wont make no difference to how TBC operates.

This didn't seem like an admission, only him saying he felt bad for speaking that Malcolm should be dead. I'm not sure how powerful he was in the NOI at the time, I got to do my Googles, but I doubt his word was enough to get Malcolm taken out. Malcolm had already made his enemies and Farrakhan was just standing by his foul leader and through revisionist history, it got blown out of proportion to discredit Farrakhan's word.

But I don't know why he would even go on television and say this knowing how it would be perceived.

I'm surprised at y'all reaction to the NFL/Show horse reference people have been using a similar reference since I can remember and its usually dismissed bc its usually compared to slavery.

His take on the barrel crab in a barrel quote\ mentality was much more original/thought provoking imo.

I still feel he just felt bad for talking crazy

it's like saying you hate a loved one and then they die in a car accident

did you really kill them?

there were fbi informants all around malcolm

Kanye spoke on it on a breakfast club interview for YEEZUS.

Wow, the interview was everything I expected it to be and more. He kept it all the way real, almost to the point where I fear something might happen to him soon, probably before 10/10/15. But it's definitely an instant classic and the best breakfast club interview by far. Angela Yee was so non existent in this one [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

I loved what he said about Floyd. That domestic violence **** is an excuse they use to justify hating him because they can't stand how he jumped out from under Arum's umbrella to become his own self-made boss.

Overall it really made me want to get out to DC in October and I can't front, it wasn't on my mind at all before seeing this. It just shot to the top of my priorities.

^ same here...I'm happy it falls on a Saturday because if it was during the week it would be impossible for me to go this fall

Great interview tbe

Honestly everytime this man speaks something is to be learned. Wish i cud make the march but maybe i can

Not to be on some negative **** but I hope Farrakhan makes it to 10/10/15. This interview + Kanye supposedly featuring him on SWISH (as he alluded to in the interview) + the Kanye documentary might introduce him to a younger audience and get ****** riled up in today's racial climate. Certain people might not like that.

Farrakhan gotta be strapped up and have a real tight circle to still be around after all this time. I'm definitely gonna be there 10/10. I was only 7 years old when the first March happened but I remember my stepfather talking about it like it was a major event.

Me also not trying to be on some negative ish, but him dying at the hands of violence might actually be more beneficial to his movement and make his message louder.

Idk about that. Who would bring everyone together?

People would roit all weekend then go back to work on monday. Nothing would change

yea, him

What did he say in this interview that hasnt been said here on NT?

Only difference is farrakhan is famous

He has a nation behind him and you dont have to figure out if he is a internet troll or not. My only issue is i still dont see how things are really going to change.
