Lexus LF-NX Concept - Production NX200t revealed

I hate that you all pointed out how its really just a tricked out wagon. I was in love for a split scond. I always loved the RX but my ppl tell me its a grls truck smh.

Am I the only one that hates concept vehicles?

The production model is not even half as aggressive and futuristic as the concept.

The IS FSport was, it was still toned down a bit but the front giant grill actually came to fruition.

As for this car, it might be possible to make is as close to this as possible, depending on the reaction they get.

In an advance event prior to yesterday’s reveal, Autocar spoke with Lexus LF-NX design manager Nobuyuki Tomatsu about how the concept might translate into a production model:

“We want this to be a very influential car — one to make its rivals look boring,” says design project manager Nobuyuki Tomatsu.

The design of the production car is still to be decided. “This isn’t one of those show cars that is 95 per cent representative of something finished,” Tomatsu says. “We have taken a risk, and we hope the reaction will be positive. If it is, there is no reason why our production car couldn’t look like this.”

Official Lexus NX
Sadly not as aggressive but I think it looks nice, will still take Macan over it.

Meet the all-new NX, Lexus' entry into the space occupied by the likes of the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. Based off the LF-NX Concept and sharing much of the design language seen on the polarizing IS sedan, the NX looks to be a rather sporty Lexus crossover.

The big news here is under the hood: the NX will be the first Lexus to use a turbocharged engine. That's right, a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder can be found in both the NX 200t and NX 200t F Sport. There will also be an NX 300h, and if Lexus' nomenclature remains consistent, we already know all about that one. As of right now, there aren't a lot of details on either powertrain, although with the NX's Beijing debut still over a week away, here's hoping we know more soon.

I hope they do come out with a V6 engine though. I'd take it over the X1 and GLA if the 3 were my only choice.

Also, they are going to need to have aftermarket replacement grill that doesn't have the Lexus emblem, it'll look much better without it.

Probably mid to high 30s? Likely in the mids since the RX starts at $40k and it's competition is the GLK and Q5, both starting at about $37k.
