New York is the world's favorite city: Poll

how many of the polled actually even visited NYC?

Right. In a thread about the world's favorite city.

Whether or not you care doesn't make it any less foolish.

Dudes love steering a thread in a direction that suits them.

And people really bringing yards and car accessibility into this argument? I came from CT and the thing I DON'T miss about that suburb life is having to drive everywhere. I'd rather pay sky high rent prices than pay for car tax, gas, insurance, potential tickets and yearly maintenance work.

I can walk, cab, bus, or subway it wherever I need to go in NYC. Pick your poison :smokin

And I'm fine with that.  As a Cali resident, I hope we stay out of the public's eye, we can't handle any more people moving here

NYC being people's favorite doesn't surprise me, that place is something else

People are actually leaving California.

Anyway, I don't see how you can compare an entire state to a city. You guys feel that inferior? Its not that serious. NYC is like its own state anyway. When people ask if you're from New York, they're not asking if you're from the sticks, they're asking if you're from the city. The only place in the state that matters.

Since ninjahood did his usual copy and paste job without citing anything. Here's a better breakdown of the study:

i'm from DC and i agree.

how can you guys hate the weather? all 4 seasons is a glorious thing! it's one of the things that makes the east coast better than every region.

i couldn't image wearing camo shorts year 'round  . i love the verity we have. can't beat jackets to north faces to jackets to shorts :smokin

Being born and raised minutes from SF...I've always wanted to experience Christmas in New York. I've always imagined it's like how SF was growing up (The Emporium roof-top carnival, FAO Schwarz, Union Square in general lol), but with snow and on a larger scale. I want my daughter to experience that.

From my experience when I was in NYC, everyone was actually really nice and helpful. I got lost so many damn times from the subway systems and someone was always there to lend a hand.

And those people are the reason why California is deeply in the red and has the population fleeing to places like Texas.

The subject of this thread is clearly referencing the city, genius.

Don't care

Dude said CA>NY, not CA>NYC.

Right. In a thread about the world's favorite city.

Whether or not you care doesn't make it any less foolish.

Maybe he was talking about California city vs New York City son, yet you assumed he was taking about the state in a thread about a city

Dog, how much further do you want to carry your foolishness?

Is California City abbreviated CA?

You're really trying to argue this ****?
