If you really think you're going to be happy with your xb1, you are mistaken.

Don't lie to yourself because you're an xbox fan. I made the switch. I couldn't take it anymore. I hated looking at that **** start up menu and I hated the constant freezing. Think of the PS4 as an apple, and xbox as a **** PC.

Even with all the launch issues I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Well my console didn't have issues so I don't care about anyone else actually.


Even though I'm picking am xbox this Thursday night, I'm not excited... ESPECIALLY not for the games. They all look boring. It's like bringing Infinity Blade to a big screen. I played Infinity blade and beat it once and never went back. Slash slash slash how boring. And racing? I just go to the runs in Milpitas since San Jose screwed up and got all caught up. Oh and Titanfall? A little birdie told me it's 100% coming to the PS4.

Damn. All of these launch games for both consoles suck though.

I've honestly been playing GTA and some battlefield 4.

Actually. Screw the PS4 and the X1.

After the new steam console comes out, I really see no reason as to having an X1. That's the real reason I made the switch. If that steam console cost $1000... I would throw my money at them.


SC > PS4 > X1 > PS3 > 3DS > 360

They would have been 100% screwed had this happened. Game publishers would not have been happy with the fact that so many people were going to abuse what they were originally going to put out. Oh you can't buy used games? Well let's all SHARE! I have a friend who works in the field and he was really pissed off when this was announced. Of COURSE they did a 180. They had no choice. It's not even about the customers, it's about the game publishers.This is why Titanfall is coming to the PS4, because of the fact that they know they aren't going to get the sales that they originally thought they were. Getting a Microsoft product is pretty stupid now. It also makes people sellouts. You weren't going to buy it when Microsoft announced all that, why would you buy it now? They said they were only going to postpone most of this anyway.

Call them tomorrow and ask if they'll still let you do it, thats what I'm doing.  Its at the managers discretion, so they'll more than likely honor the deal.
Fwiw, they are giving roughly $130- $145 on 250gb xbox slims.  I've got 2 of them and I'm considering trading both and a couple older phat 360s I have towards another Xbox One.

Does it have to go an XB1 preorder? Already got mine coming from Amazon and I would totally trade mine in if I can put it towards some games and accessories

Its supposed to be towards a console but some people have said some stores are being flexible as long as your copping next gen accessories and games with the store credit.

Think I heard someone said they giving out around $150 for the 250 GB I think.


Got $200 in Best Buy gift cards for some Xmas thing about a year or so ago, and then I could trade in my 60 GB bringing the total to around $200 for the XB1.

Gonna go and check and see it those Gift Cards is still valid.

I hardly play my 360 because of my busy schedule and as someone had mentioned if it was backwards compatible I would have been did this.
