Was going to trade my 360 in today and try to take advantage of that BB offer but my local BB said that I have to have proof of purchase that I bought it at BB [emoji]128528[/emoji]

They said I would have to bring it out of Long Island and into Queens to trade it in without pop.

on here to convey how pissed I am.

If any of you traded in an older Xbox 360, did they check the warranty seal? I think it is behind the face plate. If they don't check the seal, do they keep track of the serial number or anything, like do they link the serial number of the systems to your name when you trade them in?

NOPE THEY DID NOT CHECK THE WARRANTY SEAL. THEY JUST PLUGGED IT IN TO SEE IF IT TURNED ON.

My brother has a 360 with a disc tray that is jammed did they check y'all's if it opened? They didn't on mine when I took it so I'm hoping they don't with this one

Just left Best Buy. Traded in the PS3, GTA V, WWE 2K14, NCAA 14 and several old games for $230. Not bad. It's pouring raining yet there are about 20 ppl in line outside.

Best buy gave me 430 for 2 ps3 and 5 games aint even mad also mo line outside of it thanks to being in small town louisiana lol things are looking up

45 minutes before the UK Launch.

They better get cracking because the thing is a brick without the update.

Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Computing System Hits Bumps, Taking Down Xbox Live And Other Services
Reports surfaced recently that Xbox Live had gone dark. Other Microsoft services have followed. The problems appear to stem from Microsoft’s cloud computing service Azure, which is the brains for many Microsoft services.

According to the Windows Azure Services Dashboard, there is at least a problem with some Azure storage services, which is marked as present at suffering from “Performance Degradation.”

Azure is a growing product for Microsoft, with revenue over the billion dollar mark. It is also a core component of the New Microsoft, in which services replace traditional software. Those services more often than not run on Azure. If it goes down, it takes quite a bit with it.

I have several calls into Microsoft asking what’s up, and the like. They are likely still figuring it out for themselves.

I cannot confirm at this time the extent of what is down, but I’m hearing that TechNet is scuppered, some people can’t get email, and so forth. This could take a while, folks, so put on your Patience Hat.
