There are probably hundreds of people working at 343 that have had zero contact with MCC, but we should hang it around their necks too?

No decent developer would release their hard work too soon without clearly noting it.

M$ probably gave them a completely unrealistic launch date (obviously) and refused to move it like a decent publisher because the pre-orders alone probably deemed the project a success.

I keeping hearing about MS and their supposed demanded release date, 343 AGREED to the release date and spread their game out to different studios. 343 didn't do anything but code. they didn't make the campaign, they didn't redo the music and sound, OTHER studios did.


They had one job, ONE job, and they messed it up

I'm not calling for jobs here though, especially for that person, you just shouldnt support this company until some serious changes are made which would definitely come if this game flops sales wise. No one is expecting that small of a person to get fired, it was more of a general statement

If we're talking about people who should be fired, Bonnie Ross, Frankie, and Dan Ayoub are definitely at the top of that list.

Josh Holmes and Quinn Del Hoyo should go to because theyre idiots but thats just me.

Truthfully they should just give the Halo IP to another dev, they've screwed up three games already its a marvel they still have this thing in their possession.

No clue I know it won't happen so I haven't given it any thought. I can Dream though

I am. And jokes aside (and we deserve every one of them) this is an important step for what I hope will be a transformative rather than iterative update.

The testers will be playing in a very small population so don't expect to see miracles on streams, on the contrary, the tiny population will make matchmaking ironically tougher for the testers. But we appreciate and need their effort. And they'll help us make it right for you guys.

Everything is planned to be fixed. This beta test is of an update that drastically overhauls some of the underlying issues, rather than trying to fix them bit by bit.

Frankie comments on the Patch. Its a complete overhaul as opposed to fixing things bit by bit.

It's unclear if xbox one games can be used with a mouse/keyboard.

Can't compare the X1 launch to the 360. The 360 had to build a live platform from scratch. X1 is what it is for the sake of tile comparability. The ground work was laid but they'd rather integrate an OS that doesn't fit the purpose
