Question for the BL fans, what's the point in bringing your characters that are already leveled up into the current gen? Is there some sort of end game content that requires you to have high leveled characters? If you start with your high leveled characters what is there for you to do other than run thru the content without any effort?

I only played BL and BL2 for a few hours so I'm sure I'm missing the big picture with these questions

I'm gonna use my leveled Mechromancer for expansions I haven't done/to play around and find good loot for future chars.

you only played a few hours, you don't know the UVHM struggle

You guys are getting me kinda hype for Borderlands

.
i dont know a thing about BL but yea im with ya the way they hyping it up i might just give it a try.

Yeah that's why I'm asking all these questions. I played BL2 solo for a bit when it was given as a free PS+ title. I made it to the first boss and kept getting smacked up. I figured it was meant to be done co-op. I couldn't convince my brother to jump online so I put it down and never got back on even though I meant to.

I might pick it up release date but i don't think I should. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is probably going to consume me for awhile and I'll also be copping Bloodborne. Assuming BF Hardline reviews good and doesn't have a terrible launch, I'l be copping that as well. USF 4 will be releasing in the spring too.  I'm just not sure if BL would get enough burn to justify a day one cop for me.

Borderlands 1 came out in 09 and was.... kinda slept on

When BL 2 came out the franchise blew up big time

I always played with at least one other person. The enemies scale depending on amount of players and the difficulty you're playing on, so yeah the game gets more fun for me depending on the amount of people.

SUPER creative weapons, the game is funny as hell. It makes fun of itself too

If you have a squad of people who actually enjoy the game its really fun and you'll sink a lot of hours into it.

i hope more NPCs from the previous BL games before playable characters later. Tiny Tina was my favorite and I'm sure mixxi has some good gun skills.

Would BL be similar to fallout?
BARELY in my opinion. Fallout allows for more variants in play style and way more customization. BL is a little more straightforward shooter (mechanics wise). If you like/love Fallout (like myself), you should enjoy BL, but it won't be the same experience.

Plus there are like 10 raid bosses to defeat.

The Tiny Tina DLC for BL2 is the best DLC I've ever played.

I just didn't play it for long. my brother was suppose to to play with from the beginning but his PS3 had broke around that time. I probably could've beat him if I had taken it a little more serious.

Yeah you get molly whomped a few times but every boss got cheese spots. YouTube will be your friend.

BL is better on coop, but the loot drops are finder's keepers.

Patiently waiting for the "x nter stole my legendary drop! Ban him!" posts.

Never really had trouble with that.

If me or one of my friends really wanted a certain weapon/shield w/e, we just dueled over it.

How tf did you even pull that off?

I never stand a chance against the raid bosses. Especially Pete.

What pete was the easiest lol. Those scaffolds on his stage block his nova blasts and and gear loke adaptive shields helped. Ultimate pete cheese tho was the ledge trick basically jump on the ledge behind the scaffolding and he cant hit you at all. Ive beat them all legit to just after 1000s of kills to get a item to drop i needed the cheese lol.

This is why i dont play co op lol plus i like to enjoy the story.
i hated when this wpuld happen. I'd make my solo session joinable by randoms. I'd beat a boss. A random would join after i beat a boss. While I'm comparing my equipped guns to the loot drop, this ... Starts picking up all the loot. Instant kick.
