But rather than make multiple posts over this robbery today I'll just make one.

-Today marks three weeks since the last patch and 16 days since they pushed it back with no timetable outside of "Februrary"
-Tomorrow marks THREE MONTHS since the games release....It doesnt work
-Then theres this.

So the advertisement makes sense now

Sell an Alpha build of a game in November then release the beta version in February.

343 industries announces a Beta for a patch for the MCC, delays it, then cancels it.

"After further evaluation, the team has determined that that final testing for the content update will be completed internally, and we will not be conducting a beta test for the next CU. Also, it was determined that the additional time and work devoted to the beta would’ve actually postponed the public availability of the content update. Lastly, there were some added challenges surrounding the CU beta – including an extra series of required updates and rollbacks - that made us take a step back and reexamine the CU beta. Ultimately, this plan will allow us to deliver the smoothest possible experience, and ensure that the next content update becomes available as soon as possible.

Progress on the CU continues, and we’ll work to provide an ETA once the final date is locked. As stated last week, our current focus and priority remains delivering the upcoming improvements to the matchmaking and party systems, but the team is also working on and prioritizing additional items beyond this, and I look forward to discussing these – a lot more – as we get closer to those updates."

Since last week’s blog, I’ve received a fair bit of questions similar to and along the lines of “Does this mean the written Bulletin has returned?” and “Will there be a written update along with every video Bulletin?” While I haven’t quite determined the day of the week for these updates just yet, the weekly written update has indeed returned. Below, you’ll find the latest of what's going on inside the studio walls, and more specifically, progress and status updates on MCC and Halo 5: Guardians.

Lastly, the playlist team is looking to update the playlist lineup with some new options that were mentioned last week, with the soonest additions coming in the form of Team Snipers and an updated cross-game Rumble Pit playlist. Team Snipers will temporarily replace SWAT as the featured playlist, and Rumble Pit will replace Halo 2: Anniversary Rumble. The objective-only playlist is receiving finishing touches and spot checks, but will not be part of this update. As we’ve stated previously, we’re keeping an eye on data and feedback to determine which playlists stay in the mix, and which are swapped out for new experiences.
Relic
As we announced  just before the holidays, we’re reimagining Relic, the legendary Halo 2 map, and bring it to life in Halo 2: Anniversary. Relic was selected not only due to its popularity, but also how it complements the suite of H2A maps and adds another map fitting for 12-16 players.

Our friends over at Certain Affinity have begun development of the Relic remake, and over the course of the next few months, we’ll take you behind the scenes on the development process. For the first part in the series, we’re unveiling some concept art, and have provided wallpaper versions for your desktop.

We hope you enjoyed this early sneak peek, and we’ll be back with more Relic updates as development progresses. Stay tuned.
Halo 5: Guardians
By now, you’ve likely caught Josh’s blog  which covered some of the learnings, thinking, and changes coming out of the beta. We’d like to thank you for your continued feedback on Arena multiplayer, and are excited to share lots more in the coming months. Which reminds me – if you didn’t catch The Sprint on Halo Channel, you can watch it now on YouTube – head here  to get started with episode 1. For now, I bothered our stats and data teams enough that they provided me with some extra beta stats, and I’d like to take a moment to share some, which celebrate specific community members and their achievements:
Halo 5: Guardians MP Beta: Top Performers
• Most Combat Evolved medals earned: hardshocker, 38
 • Most Big Game Hunter medals earned: SSlCK, 48

Special congratulations to all of the players mentioned above for topping the leaderboards, and a thanks once again to all of you who participated.

That does it for this week. I'll be back again soon with the latest on MCC and beyond. Until then,

Bravo
You cannot make this up, its UNREAL.

Lol at "That does it for this week" the nerve of these people.

^^^ Anti I didn't forget you on the other post, just got caught up. I typed a response but i got to edit it first

Secondly, I don't get the outrage or this. It was a bad idea from the jump, sounds like they realized that, and cancelled something that would have made the situation worst.

At this point brah it seems like you just looking for anything to be pissed at. I mean you're taking offense to one line, 343 has always been friendly, even in the face of death treats.

^^ I would be crucified at work and then dragged through the streets by my end trails if I constantly set an expectation and went back on it. I understand that unexpected things happen and a project will never turn out as projected during their planning phase. However, certain mistakes seem deliberately deceptive and make me question a lot of 343's intentions.

I love Halo but this whole MCC fiasco has left an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth. I plan on requesting a refund as I have waited long enough for this game to work. My friends and I have moved on from this game and I hope to use the refund money to purchase something I can actually play with my friends.

No iYen I will not buy FH2

Going to give it a try. A remastered version of Relic, a missing one month of XBL and a stripped version of my least favorite Halo title will not make me happy. If I dont get the refund, I'll take the L and purchase games with greater caution moving forward.

Dude come on now. They constantly put the cart before the horse with this game. "We're going to do this and its going to fix that" which never happens. It was a bad idea from the jump yes, but why even let it get this far? But who should even be surprised, they roll out patches that break the game more than fix them. I

I was gonna edit that last part, I just cant edit from work its blocked.

You can go back to the early pages of this thread after the game dropped and same goes for the Halo thread when its up on the front page. I was the only person in here telling people to give it time, they're going to fix it, etc etc etc, essentially caping for them purely because they control my favourite multiplayer game in their hands. Its been three months and all we get are paragraphs of nothing. I was more than willing to forgive these guys for all their follies if they would just do something right for once, but that has yet to happen.

This is the worst Dev I've ever seen, bar none. Been at the front seat of this for the last five years watching them run this thing into the ground.

I just want the game fixed man, dont even care anymore about Bonnie Ross, Dan Ayoub, Josh Holmes, none of those dudes. I just wanna play Halo man, and enjoy it. I cant even look at my xbox without shaking my head, this just upsets me. Took one of the like five video games I could really say I love and ruined it.

I was stupid enough to have hope..I should have seen how broken it was when it released and refunded it out of caution..but da nostalgia made me hold out..we had fun release night. .but after that the game didn't work

We really did have a ball on release night with private matches, just imagine if it really worked at the time and the amount of games NT really would have ran together.

we had ideas of tournaments and all

Dying Light - spoiled the ending for myself on Twitch. I was trying to check out the gameplay and before I realized it, the credits were rolling
Borderlands Collection - Meh. Loved BLs but I played enough of it on the 360 and PC, unless I am missing any new features added :nerd:
wiiu/ps4 exclusives - I will probably pick one of these two up in the near future
ridiculous gaming backlog - do tell....

Unaffected by 343's .... up.

One more thing to add to master patch, people claimed it was MS's fault for giving them a deadline that was too soon. It's now FEBRUARY and the game STILL DOES NOT WORK.

I guess they were shooting for a June release

This thread has turned into a monthly PS4/Xbox debate and an antidope antidope complaint thread. It'll go up 5 pages quickly but mainly of bs.

March will be an exciting gaming month. Are we going to group up for borderlands or will people do their own things? This is my first time playing this so I won't have the weapons you guys have.
