343's call of halo is now one of my fav. online shooters. Halo's new direction is trying to get that cod audience. They have convinced me to support their games.
Halo 2 is the 2nd best halo to me.
Halo 3 feels sluggish since I'm used to fast quick/twitch shooters. Like blake said months ago, just walking across the map is a chore.
Haven't played halo 1's online.
Who plays halo 4? I'd be down for matches.

Halo 2 Classic is okay, Halo 2 Anniversary is obviously way better, but it seems a bit easy to aim, I think they should tweak the aiming and the grenade capacity and power. An enemy was close to the exploding barrels, I tried aiming for the barrels but the aim assist would lead me to aim to the enemy, so I could not shoot the exploding barrels, that's how much aim assist helps in Halo 2 and it's not good.
Halo 3 is the best in my opinion. Out of all the time spent playing Halo MCC, Halo 3 is the one I play the most. It's probably the more fair, more competitive, and more skill-required game than the other 3. Sure it's slow and sluggish, but you are likely to die less than all of the other titles. Once you get the feel for it, you'll probably like it. It takes a lot of aiming skill to be good, but a ton of intelligence to be great at that game.
Halo 1 is just plain terrible.
Halo 4 is fun, but that's all it is, just fun, but it's a bit too easy, too fast paced.
I can't wait for the new patch/new update, hoping it comes soon, it's supposed to be the main one to fix it all.

From a competitive standpoint Halo 1 is the best Halo, takes the most skill by far. Even this watered down and quite frankly bad version of Halo CE is more skillful than the rest of the games. Its really hard to judge it without having a good understanding of it, because the knowledge base of Halo CE is much different than the rest of the games. Said it before but Halo pretty much has three eras: Halo CE-Halo Team BRs(2 and 3)-Halo Abilities.
If we're talking Halo 2 and 3 its really pick your favourite as far as I'm concerned. Aiming in Halo 2 was always too easy, and Halo 3 on bad internet is a disaster and the melees are too power.
Reach isnt in MCC but out of the box Reach is terrible and Zero Bloom No Sprint Reach was great.
Halo 4 is just bad. Has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Untoggleable Sprint, no descope, flinch, random weapon drops, aim assist through the roof and from a competitive standpoint its the slowest paced thing ever. I had more Halo 4 games not reach the score limit in the brief time I played it than any other game. Theres no incentive to move once you go through the initial push for weapons and the games reach the 20-25 kill mark. Games boring as hell its not even fun to statwhore in Halo 4.
