I felt that when i first started playing BF4, I had no idea what I was doing. Like nothing was straightforward. I didn't really know how to customize the guns, and the MO matches just seemed like unorganized chaos. Ex. 1 guy is camping on the ground over there, some other guys are just jumping off of stuff, that guy is flying a plane, some other guys are just playing TDM regardless of the game mode and Im just like wtf am I doing

I liked the game engine ad graphics etc, but I just felt it wasn't too new user friendly

I do agree with it takes some time to adjust and understand what's going on. it's not like cod where you can go out and pick it up and play. Though, once you get the hang of it, it's a great game. It helps if you play with us we can help you out.

I have over 40 hours in that game.

Its especially fun once you unlock co-op and play with friends.

This, I rack up so many points just by doing the extra stuff. Sniping isnt to bad if you know what you're doing, you can cut off a whole section but playing with those type of snipers is rare.

Ya when I snipe I place the beacon where it helps my guys, not anywhere towards the back. I hate those type of guys.

I agree with all of this.

I got MVP of a losing team last night with hardly any kills simply because the only thing i was doing was going from point to point capturing them.

If im not mistaken, you do burn 1 ticket for dying and respawning though... which isnt a huge deal but when you have a team of 32 people and 5-6 of them suck and die 20+ times all of the sudden you've lost >100 tickets due to deaths.

But all in all, thats why I like BF a lot. The K/D is not the pinnacle of importance.

But being a CoD player since the beginning, I cant even front, drop a 40+ kill game in conquest feels very good and getting a 40+ death game feels batman...

But getting those big kill low death games are always great to add to PTFO.

Its so worries. Idk why i constantly have mic issues with you.. the other guy in the party couldnt hear you either

its still a lot of fun to rally up nonetheless

there's also a skill system and i dont really know how that works either

Ranking is two fold, regular leveling up and then going into Ranked games as well (world rankings and all). They calculate everything by you skill score (total score). [/COLOR]

I've never felt "penalized" in halo for losing (or any other game for that matter).

But i played halo casually with friends with the same mindset i play with now = Play to win

I've never taken ranks / leaderboards / etc. serious.

only think that holds any weight in my eyes is actual leagues and tournaments.

Black ops2 had a VERY popular ranked area called league play where it was very clear where you were at and where you went after each set of games.

I wasnt a huge fan of that myself and never got further than gold division (divisions were iron - platinum or diamond or whatever i dont really remember )
