So many A40's sound keep cutting in and out. I just got these for Christmas so they shouldn't be going to crap already. I figure it has to be the controller and I plan on getting a new one since it has the stupid drift going since July.

What model do you have? TR?

My first and most important question is- did you plug in your MixAmp to your computer and update the firmware before you started using it?

No? Do that and try again. It says on the pamphlet in the box to do so..

Yes? Make sure all cables are plugged in completely. Idk why you think it's your controller if you have the TR's, since no cable goes to the controller. Most cables on the A40 TR have a "snap in place" feel once they're all the way in so make sure you find that.

If you are plugging straight into your controller with an older model, make sure your controller firmware is updated. If it is, test if it's the cable to the controller.. If it is, get a new cable.

I have the A40 mixup m80 model. I updated my controller and xbox. My headset doesn't require a firmware update at all. The sound will cut out when my controller vibrates so I have to mess with the wire underneath or sometimes just unplug the mixamp and plug it back in to get the sound back.

Sounds like you might have bought chinese garbage and insisted it was of the same quality as similarly priced cans that arnt marketed by gamers... cant say I didnt tell you so 37 times

Well it's not really official yet, which is why it only works with digital. MS will probably be forced to make a post tomorrow making the games live but it seems that somebody jumped the gun

Supposedly if you download the games now, it's a violation of MS Code of Conduct and you could get banned. I doubt they'd go that far but just putting it out there.

The official support said you wont be banned since the game is not playable online anymore (released a update). If you were able to get it you need to set the console offline to play, and if you try to download you will be greeted with Hexic HD.

Digital only would solve the problem of BC for games that had multiple hard disks though.

If you just got them at Christmas then they're still under a warranty I imagine. I'm willing to put money down that they'll replace it for free. Contact them and see how things go.

I added him and realized im ranked higher than him in every HC game type except total career score.
