I just saw a high production value, full scale commercial on ESPN....for the cotdam Overwatch open beta

On the one hand, free betas/demos are cool cause it gives us a chance to test the waters a little
But for real, Overwatch hype has been taken too far with the closed beta. Commercials for a demo?

cant you buy a used version of Gears of War Ultimate from gamestop, load it up on xb1, then return it?
i thought the beta code was sent if you played that version.

I think it's based on when gears ultimate edition first dropped . I remember I copped it online at midnight and played it right away. I got my code yesterday around noon .

Gears 2 hurt my heart that's the last time I ever did midnight release that online was so bad, and I kept playing it...

The beta is cool it does lag a lot but I was playing late night dunno how the servers are during the day.. It really is gears 3.5 at this moment. Main complaint the new kids suck give us the old cast and the locust it's online multiplayer you don't have to follow the damn story... I miss Carmine and them boys man.

I just read that somehow the chronological order for Gears' codes got messed up. Everyone who played before April 11 should get their codes either tomorrow or Thursday

^ I'm also interested in Overwatch. But I see that they don't have team death match as a game mode. And while I like objective stuff, I prefer death match because I don't feel like getting frustrated at my teammates not doing the objective

But I read a comment that their king of the hill mode has a lot more pvp than the other modes so I'll see

Besides that, I'm not really interested in anything else at all. Hopefully E3 will bring some more stuff
