Do you all think (or know if) you'll be able to have kinect respond to YOUR voice ONLY?

Ie.. You're in a close game of madden and your girl walks in and tells the xbox to watch tv. I'm sure my girl would do that -__-

if she doesn't have a profile on the system it won't recognize her.

correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the kinect make you say certain phrases when you set your profile up, so it recognizes your voice?

Basically the kinect sees and hears who is talking to distinguish between users

it "recognizes" your body also. Like if a child can somehow magically mimic my voice, the kinect will still see a smaller body.

I really hope GS does some kind of preorder promotion for XB1 where I can trade in an old system. I've been steadfast in wanting it, but jeez shelling out a grand in a weeks time is rough. I wonder if the retailers are going to do another buy 2 get 1 free promo for XB1 as well. I can't think of another game besides DR3 and Forza to get.

I thought GS was giving an extra 30% for trade in towards the XB1.

Just checked their website and indeed they are http://www.gamestop.com/collection/30-trade and it's good until 12/29.

you gonna get robbed messin w/ GS, they jusy had the promo sun where you got 90% more credit if you traded a system in on a ps4 preorder. My boy who is getting a launch ps4 says they dropped the trade in value from what it was 2 weeks ago so even with the promo it was only 10-20 dollars more.

You might be better off using craigslist

Does walmart take games purchased from target without receipt?  If so, I am about to do this since I prefer to purchase xbox one games instead...

Yea that's what I was hoping for rumor is they're doing the same thing for the XB1 90% more credit on next Sunday so that's what I'm waiting for. I have the XB1 day one edition preordered with Amazon already but this PS3 is just going to collect dust and Craigslist has been unsuccessful so far. Trying to at least get $225-$250 for it (including 5 games and 2 controllers). I think that's fair. So hopefully GS does the promo and I'll get around that amount to put towards the XB1 cause I don't think they're out of preorders for that yet.

YEA THEY DO, I'M GOING TO DO THIS METHOD ON SATURDAY RIGHT AFTER THE BIG PS4 LAUNCH AND INITIAL RUSH. I PERSONALLY WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE THE DIGITAL COPIES OF THE GAMES THAN THE PHYSICAL.

WELL FOR XBOX ONE, YOU CAN'T INSTANT SWITCH BETWEEN YOUR GAMES AND THE APPS UNLESS YOUR GAME IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOADED GAME. EVEN IF YOU INSTALL THE GAME TO YOUR HARDDRIVE FROM A DISK, YOU CAN'T DO INSTANT SWITCHING.
