Being a pilot > controlling a titan

I felt the same way up until about Gen 1 level 25.
Im now Gen 2 Level 32 and Ive been jumping in my Titan as soon as I get it.
Titan AI is useless, might as well not be there, and with the powered up chain gun, plus multi-target missile lets me get my K/D way up on pilots and Titans alike

I play almost exclusively Hardpoint if that matters

Sometimes I'll have games where my K/D against pilots is 1.0-2.5, but most of the time I'm getting sonned. I swear I unload 10 rounds into someone yet they still live, but that's not an excuse, just gotta find a way to get better

What guns you using? Have you played with the C.A.R. yet? Or shotty?
Im not really a shotty guy in general, but to my surprise, despite the long-distance on many maps, the Shotty is super effective.
Gets my K/D up usually around 10/4 or better

The thing I suck at is apparently I need to send my pilot back to karate class, cuz my jump kicks are flying everywhere but the damn enemy. Cant hit nothing with my kicks.
Killcam always has me looking mad stupid kicking away at nothing while I take bullets in my teeth

The C.A.R. is money in the bank. I thought TF was gonna leave nothing to work for by having a good gun like the R101C available at the start. But once I got used to the later guns Ive never gone back.
CAR is a superior SMG. High fire rate, good damage. Capable at distance, but nasty indoors

I suppose it would depend on how you think you're dying the most. Indoors or outdoors?
I was losing some close quarters battles, so the CAR and Shotty raised my K/D big

Capture the flag is the most fun IMO still. We own on Hardpoint also.

I'd probably say both indoors and outdoors, but not at long range...fairly close quarters

You can still run the chat through the mixamp like you can with any other console.

Yeah but for that I'll need a TOSLINK cable. Plus, it'd be more cables and whatnot..

I think it's the fact that in COD you have a lot more opportunities where people are sitting still.. I find it really hard to use that gun and the 3-round burst gun because people are jumping off walls and sprinting and whatnot CONSTANTLY. Makes me feel like I'm just a scrub, but maybe you guys feel the same way

I literally started laughing soon as I read the first line. Feel the same way! I get a few kills hittin that sweet chin music, but most the time I'm kickin dust! Than watch the replay and face palm.

Agreed. Not much stationary action going on. Even snipers seem to be on the move. I was total buns with the G2A4, abandoned it almost immediately. The 3-burst Hemlok was ok once you get used to it, but still much harder than the CAR, so no point in sticking with it.
Hemlok is good at distance, but the trade-off in Close-up deaths was no bueno

The way people camp now is cloak, sit on the roof.

IMO, they need to make it so you can't fire your weapon while cloaked or something.

I don't suggest it for run and gun...I found out the hard way. Prob good for hardpoint or CTF playing defence only
