Internet went down last week for about 4 days (comcast had to actually come out and replace the wires inside and out of my apartment complex)

I couldn't even look at my achievements :x

Had to use my 360 to play a freaking DVD...

Microsoft said you didn't have to be online to use the xbox one....

Well i guess they're technically right...

You can turn it on, you can scroll, etc

but the offline mode of the xb1 is pretty abysmal to say the least.

I really hope it gets better

Im sellin my xbox. Its trash when i think about it. Got me for over a grand by now but the final straw was jus now when i tried to load a file n Madden... why in the **** would u ever think its a good idea to hafta be signed into the network to load files offline. Network issues on their end and i cant pkay single player games? Oh. Enough is enough.

Xb1 on offline mode really makes it pretty much a paperweight

its a shame and i hope they change that

My internet is almost never down

first time since having comcast for 8 years i had downtime like that...

but c'mon... the console was damb near completely useless

and the fix was to use my 360

Well it sounds like both of your complaints aren't even related to microsoft's decisions.

Where your madden team is saved sounds to me like its EA's choice

and Titanfall being an online only game is Respawns choice..



Loading your madden team on ps4 and trying to play titanfall on ps4 (if it existed) without a connection SHOULD yield you the same results.

I'm only level 22 though so maybe its not available for me yet? The only thing I have is the Minion detector or the Infrared detector thing. And I used a burn card one time called Satellite Uplink - which shows the locations of everybody every 10 seconds. It was sweet until a Titan stepped one me lol.

I was able to play outlast offline.

Like, if Respawn wanted to shutdown camping, they could add a permanent radar so you could see campers


Beyond that, there are some burn cards, some of which you mentioned, that retty much give you full radar. But of course thats only good for one player and one life

I can see where people are coming from with taking the AI bots and titans out for pilot v pilot...I actually wouldn't mind that mode myself and think it'll come when they add the new modes into the game.  They do serve a purpose and offers a way for non FPS players to feel like they're contributing as well as prevent camping and helping with finding enemy pilots who are shooting at them

I think you can't play offline games because you need an active PS+ membership or some ****.

If you're not online it how does it check for an active PS+ membership.. maybe I'm trippin but that's how I thought it worked.. I know the games work as long as you got an active membership to + never wondered if you're not online if it worked or not.
