YOUR BEST BET IS TO LOOK AT THE GAME STUDIOS THAT ARE BACKING EACH OF THESE CONSOLES.
THEN LOOK AT THE PREVIOUS TITLES $ONY'S STUDIOS AND M$'S STUDIOS HAVE PUT OUT.
THAT WOULD BE ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO DETERMINE WHICH CONSOLE YOU'D WANT.
IN MY OPINION, SONY HAS BETTER TITLES AND I WOULD EXPECT THEM TO HAVE BETTER TITLES.
BUT M$ MIGHT HAVE A BETTER ONLINE EXPERIENCE, RATHER A CONSOLE THAT JUST WORKS THEY WAY YOU'D LIKE IT TO.
THERE ARE VARIOUS ANNOYING THINGS ABOUT THE PS3/4 THAT I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH OR EXPECT TO DEAL WITH ON THE 360/XB1. THEN AGAIN M$ TRIED TO PASS THOSE POLICIES, SO I'M ON THE FENCE LIKE YOU.

Traded in my xbox at GS for $150...
Picked up an extra controller and the energizer charging station.

Think I'm gonna do Dead Rising 3 and Forza. Ryse looks great, just seems like a repetitive hack and slash.
I love my PS4 but I feel more excited for the potential of XB1 when it really starts to pop off. Titanfall will be a classic. The integration with Kinect and my cable box has me stoked as well.

If reviews are good for dem exclusive I'm prolly gonna see if I can scoop up an xbone launch day. My Gamestop doesn't get very busy neither does does a best buy my homie works at. If reviews are good the xbone is copped launch day even though I was planning on waiting to get it.
