I don't play games in general in the same way that I used to.

It's not the games. It's me. I'm older.

I still love Titanfall but I only play a few times a week.

Bruhs, I scored big today. There was some ambiguity in the promo shelf tags for the new target ad wjere you buy the xb1 forza bundle and get 12 month xbl free. Well they had promo tags by the xbl cards that said "free with xbox one forza" so I grabbed the forza game and walked to the register

Didn't ring up free so the managers come over. Said that it was fair that they honor it because if the wording. So I price matched forza to $49.99 and then used a10% off coupon I had for target and walked out with Forza 5 and 12 months of xbl for $42. Didn't want forza so I took it to walmart and exchanged for Kinect sports rivals.

Update started rolling out

Here’s the final breakdown of the features rolling out to Xbox One systems starting tonight and over the next few days:

Game and app saves and updates. A game save progress bar will show you the status of your game saves. You will also be able to easily tell what games and apps are being updated or have been updated recently.

Friends improvements. Notifications will be added to see when favorites and friends sign in to Xbox Live. This was one of the most frequently requested features, so we made it a priority to include it in this update. Also, friends who are in multiplayer will be identified in the friends list.

Kinect voice and motion improvements will continue to be fine-tuned for quality and reliability of Xbox One commands. For example, we’ve updated some of the gesture functionality to reduce false positives on non-hand objects triggering gesture commands.

Improved GameDVR video quality through compression algorithm improvements.

Blu-ray player supports 50 Hz video output for content recorded at 50 Hz. We’ll also be updating the Blu-ray Player app in the coming days to round out these improvements.

Controller and headset adaptor firmware updates will reduce audio static and improve wireless connectivity.

Silent reboot after system updates and system update on demand now available. If your console is in Instant On mode, the update will happen automatically and return to standby upon completion. This means you won’t need to power on your console after an update moving forward. If you want to take future updates when available without waiting for your console to do it on its own, we’ve added this option under system settings and you’ll be able to use it next update. It will only show as available when there is an update to take.

How much of it is just FPS burnout in general?

Granted I havent played Titanfall for more than a handful of matches, but even with other FPS I just dont have the desire to play anymore.

I just know this fall I am really going to have to try and avoid the hype for all the releases and just buy something I'll enjoy. COD and BF will really have to wow me for me to put any money toward them.

This.. The top part I think it's just the fps burnout.

Haven't played any console games the past week or two I been on dat crack.. I'd sell them but I know id regret it a couple days later lmaoo

Yooo.. Kinect Sports Rivals is the worst game I have ever played. I have never once felt so burnt by the purchase of a game. :x:x:x:x:x

You thought it'd be any different? Lol. The kinect is the biggest fail since the power glove. It doesn't work and the games for it suck. Why it hasn't been recalled is beyond me. The only thing that remotely works is the mic

My kinetic just decided to forever be unplugged... Even tho it's plugged in and I've never moved it from its original spot I put it in. Was working fine a few days ago now all of a sudden it won't be recognized. I've unplugged it, hard reset my xbox and still nothing.

Any help before I have to call Microsoft and wait on the line forever?

Make sure you guys go to Settings and change your friends' sign in notifications to All Friends. I think by default it just notifies you when Favorites sign in only.

I swapped COD out for it, It's a solid fun game, has like 5/6 gameplay types, maps are pretty big, matches go pretty quickly in deathmatch. I've never really had any problems with it. for $30 it's a pretty good. Only problem I have with it is it does lack in weapon options

I think it's just a different game that some people need to take more time with to really understand. I hated it the first two days I played it. After a while when I started to understand how I should be playing, it started to get fun.

That's true, but overall I think people don't like it because of it's replay value. Many think it gets old pretty fast and there is no incentive to get better which I agree with. Respawn has said they will be doing a lot of updates in the future and increased competitiveness is one of their main focuses. Personally, I only get too play a couple times a week so when I do I still have a great time.

Meh, IMO TF is one of the best "summer of arcade" type downloadable games lol. Expectations were high, granted maybe too high, but it didnt deliver

I'm still loving Titanfall. Maybe it's the fact that I can only hop on once every so often, so I'm not getting burnt out on it. But it's just fun to me. Love getting the stim burn cards and running circles around everyone. I'm guaranteed to hit that sweet chin music and snap a couple necks when I'm on that juice.

Eh, I still think it is the best game on the next gen systems so far and will continue to be for a bit. Titanfall>>> COD, BF
