It's just the same game with a future skin thrown on. They know this is the year of future shooters. (TF, halo, destiny). They have to fit in to compete

Yes COD is the same game and blah blah blah... It works. Plain and simple. You don't like it don't buy it. It's really that easy.

And yes I know Ghost is trash. That's why I didn't buy it. See it's that easy.

I've come to this conclusion, too. It wasn't til after Titanfall released that I had this epiphany. Titanfall blew my mind for the first few hours... Then I went back to cod. They have the formula and they don't mess with it. I used to complain that it was the same game year after year, but after playing shooter after shooter, I still go back to cod.

However, the division will reign supreme!

Nah no Titan but the new juggernaut remind me of the titans and I think cod got super jumps and wall climbing

Hopefully the super jumps and wall climbing is restricted to single player only. I'm perfectly fine with CoD the way it is now, just give me some good maps, game modes and weapons and I'm good. I wouldn't mind them getting rid of support streaks too

I mean, I'm considering it, but no backwards compatibility in 2014? I still have 360 games I haven't finished. I'd have to set both systems up and that's too much.

Honestly, if you can wait, wait. No game is worth buying it for. The features are "ok", again, nothing worth buying it for.

Simply put, it's still in its early stage and in about a year it'll have something to offer

Is it true that you can't turn off the kinect or you can now? I know during E3 that said a lot of bullcrap that made me not want to buy it, and even though they changed it around because of the response, what idiot thought of those ideas and what idiot saw it as a good idea?

Pros
- You can get bundles for pretty cheap
- Works with your cable box, if you have one (i dont )
- There's a hand full of exclusive next gen stuff
- Blu Ray player if for some reason you dont have one yet
- The voice commands work surprisingly well

Cons
- No backwards compatibility... gotta keep the 360 if u wanna play 360 games... I absolutely hate this aspect of it...
- No external storage (confirmed to be added soon)
- People consider the 10+ exclusives as "nothing is available" if they simply don't like the current selection
- Party system is still kinda funky
- The user experience isn't as smooth as it could be on the home screen / store
- You're screwed if your internet connection drops... it basically becomes a blu ray player

Basically, if you're not a gamer, you'll probably be upset with your purchase. I have dead rising 3, assassins creed 4, battlefield 4, ghosts, plants vs zombies garden warfare, peggle 2, titanfall, tomb raider definitive edition, need for speed, lego marvel, lego movie game, Killer Instinct, Forza, and probably a few others I forgot about.

I LOVE my xbox one.... But im a gamer who loves games.

I agree with all this expect the kinect.

My voice controls work GREAT.

Even the "xbox on" works almost every time now.

I thought the kinect was such a stupid gimmick and absolutely hated that they shoved it down my throat.... But i gotta admit, the stupid thing grew on me

Honestly, the XB1's biggest downfall is its software/operating system. Its ZERO reason why any game should be releasing in 720p on it yet games are doing it with the promise for 1080p in the future. I know nba2k runs smoother on the ps4 vs the xb1 also (used both for the LeBron 2k codes).

The party system is buggy and has taken a step back from what was on the 360 as well as the record feature. I used to be able to record full races and share them on the xbox 360 while playing forza. now the xbox record just does a small clip at low res from the view point of the user.

Its pretty embarrassing.

Yea, looks like I'll hold off for now. Seems like it's only good for a blue ray player right now, and I don't even buy DVDS anymore LMAO. Who does? Everything is digital.

If we go back and see what the 360 and PS3 offered in their initial stage to what they have now its like night and day.

360 it is then, for now.

Weird how PS2 had backwards comp and that dropped in 2002 (?) It's 2014 and we don't have it, seems as we progress into the future we digress into the past. We went too ahead of our time back then haha

Hence waiting to buy it. This gen is the first to really showcase the features above games at launch. The features IMO are a let down AS OF NOW
