My Kinect is more of an annoyance than anything. Mainly because I made no effort to learn the voice commands. 

Just dont do Halo last MS Pls. I wanna go on forums and wildly speculate like the old days.

If they announce there is h2 but no h2 multiplayer and halo 5 sucks I'm pawning my xone that day

Btw, NoBODY would guess the x1 price drop would be announced within a year if it releasing. Just like nobody knew TF would drop price a month after release. Do we "deserve" money back? No. Would it be nice? Yes

Halo 3 was the reason I went 360 Halo is the reason I went Xbox One, even though I got three of my boys to join me over here.

That would probably make me give up on the Franchise honestly. I'd literally start playing Xbox connect online and call it a day. And yes I know it sucks

Rather people like it or not the Kinect made the XB1 so much better. Now without it, it's just an upgraded 360 IMO.

The commands are cool but they do get old. I'm guessing you can't just say "xbox record that" without it right? That's the one command I love

I was hoping they would give Ryse to us first with games for gold. Hopefully they will in the next couple months.

But it seems Phil Spencer "gets it". And he was definitely the right choice for Xbox.

I thought I was gonna be mad when they finally released a version without the kinect (I have one), but i honestly don't care at all. My girlfriend really likes the kinect, and the voice control is handy imo. Got the titanfall bundle anyway, so im not too bent outta shape.

as for the complaints from Day One purchasers.... cmon............

Of course the system was going to go down in price! Was just a matter of time

Games with Gold sounds like a good idea. hopefully we get access to some good stuff with it.

True, but I can guarantee you see something in their press conference they could have cut and included this, which would have probably swayed public opinion about who "won" E3. This is huge news.

Maybe their E3 presser will have much bigger reveals, but honestly I think it'd have had a much bigger impact if left for the conference.

lets be real though. Sony could have Shu walk out onstage and show 10 seconds of last guardian and dance for 2 hours and we'd still have fanboys saying Sony "won" E3

Okay. And we still have Microsoft fanboy's echoing exactly what Sony fanboy's were a generation ago.

Im speaking on more public perception than what a niche target market thinks. I think the majority of people on NT are more reasonable than that.

Man nobody is shutting nothing down honestly... it's all the same ****.

Neither company has heavy hitters that will WOW anyone.

Everything that's hot is multiplat.

NIntendo will always have the best 1st party games though.

You have to remember what was hot to you back when you were young these younger dudes isn't interested in that.

Only 2 of the biggest major franchises to me is COD and GTA honestly.

Then after that is your Madden's, NBA 2K... after that comes everything else.

Everyone keeps saying COD this and COD that... look at the sales numbers that **** is still king and I agree that it sucked more and more after MW2... BLOPS2 was alright though.

Edit - I mean they could come out with a true follow up to Chrono Trigger and I would be happy about it but majority of these kids are going to be hyped about the new COD than anything else this year.

Even Halo 2 it's going to bomb because most people are used to the ease of the pick up and play mentality of COD and the learning curve for Halo is different than COD. Also, most aren't going to play Halo 2 like how it was when it first released where everyone was out playing and having fun... no dudes is going to be worried abou their K/D ratio and camp or some other crap that will mess up the flow of the game and that's how the majority of the community will be playing it.

MS said they had no plans to release without a kinect...

How you gonna say it made it so much better then bash it? Lol. The only thing it did reliably was sign me on with the face recognition. Everything else was a hit or miss usually ending with me curing out the Xbox and using the controller to do things

"Xbox unsnap" is the one i used most.

"Xbox on" I do when Im about to watch netflix and I just walked in the house

"Xbox record that" is one i remember to use after its too late and it generates me a very nice lame game clip

"Xbox invite party to game" is one I use but not very often cuz usually I'm not the party leader

Before i got the xb1 i thought the kinect was a gimmicky piece of poopoo

Now I use it every time the machine is on

the only voice command that doesn't really work for me is Xbox on and thats still at like 60% of the time. I can whisper xbox off and it always works.

Its just a matter of preference. When I watch hulu or netflix Im constantly saying xbox pause, fast forward, etc, because I turn my controller off to save battery.

PS3 had to drop price because it was mad high and it came with a BLU-Ray which wasn't common at all at the time, and was most people only blu ray player at the time.  and who really can think back to the first OG XBOX my moms bought that. smh

I copped XB1 for Titanfall got it around day1, so check this out.  Not only did they drop the price of the XB1 at launch because of the game, they even DROPPED THE PRICE and INCLUDED the GAME!. Then TF prices was slashed from 60 to 40 only a few months later. GOTDAM! Strike 3.

So as a consumer I can't be mad or want a cheap 20.00 xbox live game for free??

Microsoft is offering a different bundle for cheaper after 7 months, not changing the price of the flagship bundle, and not giving out credits.

Dude you're sounding like an entitled child. MS made no promises to you. And they didn't even cut the damn price. They're introducing a new SKU

You didn't get played, you didn't get robbed, you didn't lose out really. You're mad because you early adopted. That's the point you are missing. You enjoyed you console for months, now you want MS to compensate you for the enjoyment you had for those months.

YOUR NOT ASKING TO GET THE SAME DEAL AS THE LATER BUYERS. You asking to get a better deal. You want the months of enjoyment the later buyers don't get, plus you want to pay the lower price and get the perks that MS is giving the later buyers to draw them in.

Every says if you are hesitant to jump in to a new console to wait a year and then make your decision. But you couldn't wait.

Not only that. You have the option of getting back your $100 but you're so upset about this, that you don't want to even entertain that option.
