Hearing somebody pop off "Xbox record that" can be hilarious at times  Especially when you do the same to them after getting payback :smokin

I remember hearing rumors that either PS4 or X1 would have the Kinect built in (obviously PS4 wouldn't call it Kinect but ou guys get the idea

)

You think there will be a Kinnect for Xbox Two?

I'm guessing yes but not the way we have it now. They'll market something new that basically is the same thing with upgrades. The name kinect is now synonymous with failure and spying lol

You have to think that the next Xbox won't drop until 2020 or beyond, who knows what to expect

Supposely the xbone one is a 10 year cycle right? Who knows maybe consoles wont even be popular anymore with all this mobile tech advancement.

I mean PS4 has that VR accessory in the works. Kinect will be dead by the next gen.
You cant do VR w/o a camera, I'd bet money there'll be a Kinect 3.0

MS's greatest mistake was not launching w/ Kinect games wortha damn and KSR is not what I mean, When they sit down to make the next xbox they need to go hand in hand w/ a developer who will make a core game that uses everything they put in it whether its kinect or something else

Do not mention Kinect Sports Rivals in this thread ever again.

Yes, I'm mad.

Man.. I played it for a total of twenty minutes and put it up on Amazon for $40 and sold it the next day and bought Fifa.

Never in my life have I felt so played..

X1 is built to last 10 years, that doesn't mean the next console won't come out before that. Just means MS will support the X1 for at least 10 years.

Console generation usually last 5 years. Last one lasted longer because the switch to HD was so expensive, and the economy collapsed during this cycle. Which forced the generation longer

Sony and MS are not losing a ton on the hardware, and the consoles are relatively weak. So my guess. 2017 at the earliest, or 2019 at the latest.

With maybe Nintendo and/or Amazon launching something before then.

I think the wait time between last gen and current gen was perfect. I'm not too sure what 360 offered in its later years but as far as PS3 goes, there are still plenty of games on the market. I really think Sony could've waited another year or two but they obviously didn't want to be last out the gate. Sony // M$ need to give developers enough time to maximize the console's capabilities. I would hope we don't see new consoles until 2020 at the earliest. The only exception is Nintendo, which I personally don't think they need a new console at this time, just more first party titles.

I'm thinking next gen will start to come out sooner than they say. This gen isn't even head and shoulders better than it's predecessors. They gave us the xbox 361 and called it a day

Brah no programmer will opt to "continuing to maximize the current hardware" over getting fresh more powerful easy to code hardware. Those talking points are pseudo marketing nonsense. Especially if they say with x86

These consoles are relatively weaker than what we would have gotten with high wattage, loud, dedicated GPU consoles. There needs to be quicker turnover because in 3-4 years it will be possible to match or beat the power of these consoles at a $300 price point. Which leaves Sony and MS open to Apple/Amazon/Google stream boxing the to death

-The Xb1 is waaaay more powerful than the 360. Plus the 360 was built at a different time when the market was much different. Plus I don't blame MS and Sony for going with APUs, losing 80-100 per console would be death in this current climate. But don't make me wait another 7-8 years for another conservative power boost.

If these console were running Titans and MS and Sony were saying, check us again in 2020. Then Ok. But that's not the case

I have no idea about APUs, high wattage, GPUs, x86 etc. I just like good video games and I think we could have waited an additional year or two before getting PS4/X1.

I might check out Wolfenstein when the price drops. Heard it's solid but with Watchdogs almost here I know it'd just collect dust if I got it.

79 based on 11 reviews so far. Pretty solid.

I'm not gonna get wolfenstein until the price drops. 10-12 hour single player only (20+ if you 100% it) is what i've heard.

Watch dogs next week... IN

Yeah for me that's fine. I'd rather pay a full $60 for a game that focuses on single player as opposed to one with tacked on MP, besides Im a fan of the series and I'm not sold on Watch Dogs
