I suck at halo but I will have an xbox one definitely by the time MCC drops. I've always hated on Halo but it's actually really fun
embarassed.gif

But I always hated on Halo because I'm a Gears guy
devil.gif
can't wait till we get that for the one. Hopefully they do a remastered disk for 1-3, leave judgement as a bad dream

I dont care if they have judement or not just give me the gears 1 pistol and dedi servers and I'm gooder than good

Welcome Papi

Man nahhhhh that gears 1 snub pistol is OD. It was poppin heads like a boltok pistol  and the gears 1 snub all you had to do was shoot twice and melee and you were down. But if they use gear 3 servers and give you every map pack from all 3 games :wow: even the remade ones. Like imagine gears 1 mansion AND gears 2 mansion in super HD :wow:

They had to take weapon swaps from public matches, it was way too ridiculous. People had snipes around every corner and would want to play gridlock all day  I was a pro with that gnasher, weapon sliding x wall bouncing x superman = instant kills :smokin

Damn I'd love to participate in a Halo MCC comp but I've only played Halo 3 and I was buns. I too am a Gears guy, never gave Halo a fair chance :frown:

I was like 13 years old when Halo 2 was out, and while I logged hundreds of hours, I'm not sure how good I actually am/was . Definitely down for some NT games though as none of my real-life friends will be copping :frown:. We should do like a doubles/triples tourney if we have enough interest :pimp:.

One xb1 feature that I really like, is how fast I can pull up digital games.

When you guys were talking about only buying digital, the context of how fast it is wasn't apparent to me. The context I had was 360's digital game launching.

Now that I know how fast it is, I'm definitely going digital for games that I'll never sell, such as...

What are you guys' opinion on downloading games straight to the hard drive as opposed to buying a disk on release day. It seems like it's better as opposed to having to leave the house but I would imagine the space it takes up is massive. Like downloading GTA V when it releases straight to your hard drive would probably be 80 gigs

I honestly love having the game on box. Like others have said switching games is a breeze. The only downside is that if you download them you can sell them back when you're done. Space isn't really an issue because one large external HD would fix that problem. If they'd find a solution to the trade in problem ( maybe delete and receive mc points?) Id be all in. Till then I'm only DL'ing must haves. Made the mistake is destiny (not that it's a bad game but in a while I'll be done with it for sure).

One main pro/con DL games would be that you can play it right away, once it releases, but you're stuck with that game.

One main pro/con of disk games would be that you can resell it and that you have to install it(not too bad).

To me, unless it's a game that I KNOW I'm going to love to play, I'm won't buy it on disk. If it's a game that I have to take a chance on, I'm buying it on disk.

Amazon has release day shipping, which is an alternative to driving to a store for disk games.

Given how affordable hdds are, I don't think the size of games will matter that much. A 4tb external hdd is $150. You'd be able to save 108 games(35gb) on there.

You can also play said games straight from the hdd, which is as fast as playing them from the internal drive.

I've been all digital on the Xbox One and I'm loving it so far.  I think it works best for those that are more selective about the games they buy and don't trade in games often.

The only game I've felt was a bad purchase and would have traded in was titanfall but thats because I literally only played it the week it came out and never again.

My main motivation with going all digital is because I own 2 Xbox Ones and going up and down stairs looking for games was irritating with the 360.

When you beat FH2, supposedly you'll have only beaten 20% of the game.

Forza Horizon 2 will feature expansive endgame content, according by comments made by creative director Ralph Fulton, including an all new option introduced after the credits roll that lets the player decide where to take the race to next.

In fact, the feature list is so expansive, Fulton says, that once you "complete the game" around 12-15 hours in, you'll have only seen around 15-18 per cent of the game.

"We've actually just got a lot more in Horizon 2 than there was in Horizon 1 in terms of content and features," Fulton told VideoGamer.com earlier this month. "We're introducing stuff for hours, basically. But after about 90 minutes we're happy to let you off the leash. A funny thing happens in this game which didn't happen in the original, and I think it's just due to scale and the amount of stuff that's in here. After being led along quite deliberately for 90 minutes, there's a point where we go what happens next is up to you. For me the game comes alive at that point."

He continued: "In fact, when you 'complete the game' - and I use air quotes there - when you become the champion, you've seen the credits... you're 15-18% into the game. What's great is at that point a new feature is introduced. So you're like 12-15 hours into the game and we actually change it then so that you're in charge of the Road Trip, this big event that happens. Suddenly you choose where it goes, you choose the next destination, and from there there's still so much content, so much more to find and explore."

There'll also be cars hidden around the game world for players to find in the way of Bucket List Challenges, a series of challenges with specific objectives and themes. 30 will be available day one with others set to roll out regularly shortly after launch.

And even once you complete all the content available on disc, Playground has plans to "expand the experience" by way of future DLC.

"We are definitely looking at ways to expand the experience as we go forward," Fulton adds. "I think that's one of the strengths of Forza. We do support our games post-launch and you've seen that perfectly with Forza Motorsport 5... almost continuing to justify that purchase that people made on day one. I absolutely envisage without giving you any specifics that that's something we'll continue to do in Horizon."

Here's one problem across the board with games having to be installed, they seem to be more buggy and crash. Am I the only one experiencing this? Maybe it's the Xbox itself but on the 360 I've NEVEr had a game crash on me, have the sound cut out, or had saved magically disappear on me.

I don't want an Xbox one without kinect. I want the full xbox one experience. I see what M$ is trying to do, they'll end up taking all the xbox one kinect bundles off shelves and just have the $399 Xbox and if you want the kinect you'll have to shell out an extra $50 bucks versus you just getting the set for $500 you'll pay $550 if you buy them seperate :smh: they aren't slick
