That engram bs is what pushed me away from the game. Haven't played it in 4 days and haven't really missed it. I was done with playing for a couple hours and accomplishing nothing

It's gotten to the point where every strike I do, I get blue engrams that are worse than what I already have on. Why would you give me a helmet with 5 light and 100 defense when I have 1 equipped that gives 9 light and 120 defense( examples). I haven't upgraded my armor in like a week

After around level 22 or so farming for drops is useless even by the game's standards.

At that point its time to get your crucible marks up, your vanguard marks up, and level what what ever faction you're a part of to buy better gear.

Im part of the dead orbits because their gear offers a bonus on strength and discipline (if i recall correctly) which is what i prefer to have buffed

if you play by yourself that stuff can be boring as all get out.. I try to always play with other peeps

Man I been neglecting this game because I haven't been home much recently..I gotta hop on and do some farming tonight. I'm only like level 8 or so, so if any of you guys wanna show me the ropes it'd be appreciated.

thats whats turning me off from the game currently. bungie is really stingy when it comes to giving you legendary items vs. the amount of time you play the game. the leveling up past 20 thing is really dumb too imo because it goes back to my previous point.

pre-orders are still in the 60k's.

Hope they go up as the launch gets closer.

You gain extra crdits just for being in a car club.

You gain extra credits for doing club events, you can drive any member's car or use their upgrades, and I believe car club members' drivatars will populate your world.

Given that, let's say Carver's drivatar is in your single player game, you can follow his drivatar around.

Carver's drivatar can lead you to a barn find, discount sign, etc.

Or you can race Carver's drivatar, then when Carver signs on, his screen will say something like "centex beat your drivatar."

That's some of the things I heard Ralph Fulton say about car clubs.

This. Exactly what I told my brother when I seen there were only a few hundred people playing Gears 3 one night. I could care less how populated a community is. As long as I can jump on and play without excessive waiting time, I'm good
