I will "check out" the other games, but most of my playing time is going towards Halo 3 multiplayer with Halo 2 in second Halo CE I will check out and Halo 4 will be lucky if I scroll past it although I heard they made a lot of changes to it that made it decent but I had already given up on that.

Also, don't forget their is talk to have Halo Reach and ODST to XB1 but it will probably be with that Gold for Free thing they do.

Wired controller coming next week

This should have been an option at launch. Wired controller > wireless. I've already bought a micro USB cord but I shouldn't even have to. They should have accommodated the wired controller users from day one.

Hopefully this also results in a more concave back of the controller like the 360 one has. Love that thing man

Looks like the wire is replaceable which is also cool cause I've gone through many a controller cause of dead wires.

Word, the batteries died within 5 days of purchase of my X1 and i've been using one of my spare phone charger cables since.

I prefer a wired controller anyway and im about to buy this 6ft one from amazon for $5.50

This is an excellent purchase. I have these. Theey come with a 1 year warranty. If they break, amazon will ship you a new one.

The amazon basics brand has other products like hdmi cables, ethernet cables, and rechargeable batteries.

This is what I bought, thanks to iYens reccomendation. I havent used it extensively yet but the cord itself is quality.

normally got my tv set to a low volume with the xbox head set on and a headphone in my right ear for music

i used to use the turtle beaches for COD to hear footsteps and gun shots and all that but now i just dont even care for it

She always wants to talk or want me to do something while you are in the middle of a game. I love that about online gaming, no pause. Unless you are my sneakers are on fire I ain't moving until this match is complete!

Speaking of headsets, is it possible to mute the in game volume or lower it when using the chat adapter? Everytime I'm in a party with one of my boys I can't hear them during certain parts of the game because it's too loud.

Think that must be done in X1 Settings. You can adjust chat and game volumes.

Thought it was just me after I pick a play I'll be talking to someone but once we line up to run the play is when I can't hear my opponents it's weird
