Hey @iYen how has the MP in TF been since the release? I know you really like it and I'm wondering if it would be worth purchasing when I get the X1. I heard some stuff about them adding some good updates to the game

I got titanfall a little over a month ago. It's about $20 right now, well worth it.
If you like COD, you'll like TF. COD's mechanics are the base of TF, but it adds a lot to those mechanics.

Wall running, titans vs pilots and vice versa, titan vs titan, and dedicated servers.

The gameplay different from the online shooter norms. Pilots can strategically take down titans.

You can sprint without having to hold down the sprint button. Among other features.

Titans can easily kill pilots, but pilots can easily run away to avoid getting killed.

It's my fav. online shooter due to how fun and varied the online is.

Even the way the matches start is cool. You jump out of a plane with this song among others in the background.

 

Compared to COD, TF's maps are huge! But there are  ziplines that make getting around faster. As well as wallrunning. Getting around is fairly easy given how nimble pilots are. It's mirror's edge meets COD at some points.

I like the complexities of combat. Whether it be titan v titan, titan v pilot, or titan v titan/pilot.

Pilots have tricks to combat titans and vice versa. So a titan can easily be taken down by two skilled pilots.

I don't feel like it's impossible to take down a titan, when I'm a pilot.

Like a pilot can rodeo a titan. If that titan doesn't have a counter for a pilot rodeoing their titan, that titan will be easily destroyed.

Pilots can ride enemy or friendly titans, which is also another way to get around faster.

My fav. modes are kill marked enemy player, domination, pilot hunter, and team deathmatch.

After each match ends, get to the chappa mode is activated.

The team who got beat has little time to get to a chopper to escape and earn some extra points.

The winning team has to quickly destroy the chopper, while the losing team has to smartly get to the chopper without getting picked off.

Some Updates:

• you can buy/sell your perks(burn cards) for points
• pilot v pilot mode(COD mode)
• gameplay fixes/glitch fixes

tldr

Titanfall's story isn't worth a look into. The online is really fun and I don't see myself selling it anytime soon.

I may buy the dlc, if it goes on sale.

I havent gotten into a bunch of games yet either. Tried Titanfall and Watch Dogs they both suck, will give some stuff a chance later, I do have some definite cops like MGS coming up.

Sunset Overdrive looks cool but I'm not gonna buy it.

I've beaten the atheon part of the raid on hard 5 times, 3 times the normal way and twice with groups attempting the cheese. The groups attempting the cheese always took twice as long.

Id like all the raid gear but then I think to myself "for what"? By then you've "beat the game" multiple times. Destiny needs an update and add on asap. They've got 3 weeks till halo anyway. By then you won't find me on drstiny anymore
