Of course there will be complaining it's only right. But it will be by the guys who are more hardcore cod type. Everyone who has played it knows exactly what they're getting out of the box you can choose which one you want to play it's not some randomized play list of all of them in one.

And the hardcore cod comment was not directed at djyoung lol.. Its most people got used to sprint and ads when they play halo again it's gonna feel all ****** up.

My FPS roots are grounded in halo 3.

I cant wait for the nostalgia that halo MCC will bring me.

That being said, im more excited for CoD AW.

But both are already installed and waiting to play

A month? MCC will still be going until H5 comes out and then past that if H5 sucks. You're underestimating the Halo community and how excited they are that this game is being made.

Theres a tournament every month until March right now and thats pre release. Halo 3 is still playable and its 7 years old

Most people are going to over MCC within a week or two.

Halo is not a pick up and play like COD.

You actually have to be good to do good not play like a B with thermal scope camp and wait for streaks and let them do the work for you.

Most people who rocked with Halo back in the day don't really have time for it like that these days to put in the effort and/or are older now and doesn't play games at all or like they used to.

If the community sticks around for over a month I would be surprised.

Hope I'm wrong but time shall tell.

I've been thinking this for awhile now. "Kids" nowadays are used to COD where it's 3-5 bullets and your dead, with not too much strategy or skill needed to be "good". You can join with a bunch of randoms and still put in work. Halo is an entirely different beast. Time to kill is much higher, you pretty much need a good team to succeed, and although a select few weapons dominate, you sort of need to be able to use everything (I'm talking non-loadout gametypes). Unless a new breed of younger players sticks with it, I don't see there being a huge online presence. And with COD coming out around the same time, I don't see that happening.

But that doesn't mean I won't enjoy the hell out of it. Until I;m back at work .

Honestly, the Halo community doesnt need to be "big" to thrive through. I'm sure for a good year or two there will be more than 10,000 players on at any given time.

Y'all know I love my CoD, but I think it would be nice to see the CoD monster de-throned... word to halo 5.. which might do that if CoD AW Flops.

It will be some MUCH NEEDED competition into the FPS game development scene and would be beneficial to (us) the players to get "more" than we have been getting.

Halo 3 has about 700 people online at any given time and finding games isn't a problem. If that same 700 played MCC I'll be just fine

I didn't play halo growing up but as long as there are enough people online to matchmake without long wait times, everyone who does play should be fine. I play Gears 3 and sometimes there's only 300+ people online but I still get into matches, I could care less about a community as long as I can play

Na.. but un-learning the post-cod FPS mechanics of today is gonna be a learning curve all in it's own

Not aiming down sight (unless we rollin with the BR or the snipers), not sprinting, shotgun + melee , etc.

Shoot it took me a while just to learn melee = RB on destiny

A graphically improved version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be hitting Xbox Live on October 26, just in time for the game's 10th anniversary. But there's a bit of a catch.

I leveled up with the Cryptarch yesterday and got Plan C from the Legendary Engram reward .

The cryptarch also gave me a Plan C then I got another from the nightfall 2 days later.
I wish the game took into account what you already have because I've got multiples of exotic weapons while I can't get the weapons I want.

I've also got 4 bad jujus, 4 invective shotguns(dismantled 1 and only got 2 energies), 3 pocket infinitys, 2 thorns, 2 suros regimes, 2 super good advices, 1 mida multitool, 1 vex mythoclast, and 1 last word.

Destiny wants us to think exotic weapons are really rare, they aren't.

Don't waste your time with 1tb if you're planning on keeping your games or keeping your console for a number of years.

I had this population conversation on the Halo forums a while back, I think I have a pic of what the numbers were at that that point.

At peak hours theres there's around 3 to high 4ks people on Halo 3. Reach hovers around the 10k mark, 4 is right around there also . Theres only one playlist where you cant find games on Halo 3 right now and thats team Snipers, theres never more than like 25 people searching, but who cares cause Team Snipers sucks. 

MCC wont do numbers like H3 did, but theres always going to be people playing it.
