Did anyone figure out the Xbox TV app? Do I have to run the HDMI cable that's connecting my cable box and tv straight to the Xbox instead?

you connect your xbox to tv, and cable box to xbox through hdmi IF you want to watch tv through XBOX...

memphissfinest memphissfinest After spending time with both systems, I can't say that either one is that much better than the other. Both are great consoles and I think both controllers are vastly improved. In my opinion, Forza 5 may the best console exclusive launch game.

With the Xbox, I love all of the features. Regardless of how corny it may be to some or unnecessary, there's no denying that walking into a room and saying "Xbox On" and having the console start up is pretty cool. The Snap feature is great. Being able to play a game and have the ESPN app or NFL app running on the side is great and I can see myself utilizing it a lot. I also like the Upload feature. While the PS4 has a great steaming feature, the Xbox's Upload feature works great. I love how it automatically saves clips from Madden and 2K when a highlight happens. Also, saying "Xbox Record That" right after something awesome happens is pretty cool and shows how useful the new Kinect can be.

All in all, I love the Xbox One. It is more than just a gaming console, but that doesn't mean it sacrificed anything in the gaming department. Graphics look great on the launch titles, the UI is smooth and easy to navigate, the features are robust and work great. It looks like this generation for Xbox owners will be exciting and I can't wait to see what's in store for us.

THOROUGHLY impressed by what this machine can do, and the potential it has. The tv/kinect integration is an awesome feature, and not just some novelty that'll wear off. The voice commands just add another layer to the experience. Being able to say "double team" when David Lee is guarding Z Bo in the block is nuts.

The controller is very solid. The handles feel comfy and not bulky. The face buttons are quality, the D-Pad has a nice "click" to it, and the triggers are the best I've felt. The sticks feel a bit looser than I'd like, but they feel good nonetheless. I'd have to give ps4 the nod when it comes to controllers overall, but for shooters I prefer the xbox. I really don't like how close the sticks are on the dual shocks.

XB1 > PS4

Tbh I don't think any console will win this "console war" because both consoles give a somewhat different vibe from the other. Both are solid consoles and to say one is trash or lost to the other isn't true

I will say the bumpers on the new controller seem a bit less responsive compared to the 360's controllers, you really gotta press the corner of them since they're so wide

I agree, it'll take time to get used to the bumpers

But the new triggers are probably the best triggers on any controller ever. Not an exaggeration.

I mean the voice feature sounds cool, but can't you turn it on with the controller too like PS4 or no?

how much are the resells going for? serious question
A lot in Minnesota.. day one editions only going for 600

which sounds like a lot but after taxes and whatnot buying it at a store this is paying like 60 bucks over retail

Of course you can but what's the point when you can just say "Xbox on"
Some would argue that you'd still need the controller in your hands to play said game.
So saying "xbox on" isn't as convient as it seems.

I must admit I've always supported sony but I copped an x1 for forza and so far I'm rocking the x1 and ps4 is getting no play. Sucks I'm gonna have to play gran turismo 6 on a ps3

Ain't your PS4 in the mail getting fixed

But yeah, Forza is probably the game I'll buy if I scoop an X1 in the coming days or today.. those ads are looking juicy
