On Wednesday they're releasing an actual download update. If it's not fixed by then there's truly no hope

ive never seen a game with so many problems like this, its not even funny. theres no way they fix the game 100%

Well let me temper your expectations real quick, the patch coming Wednesday is fixing mostly MatchMaking stuff and a few other fixes. Theyre gonna fix it, I'm not worried about it.

Battlfield 4 was worse from what people who had both have told me. Literally nothing worked in that game they say.

The worst thing is that the MM settings will make other things like the settings for playlists take a huge backseat. Seen some horrible gametypes out there.

its disrespectful how they drop the biggest game for the xbone this year and can't even have matchmaking function properly on release. wheres bungie when you need em?

So when MatchMaking is fixed, you're gonna be mad that Campaign scoring isnt working? I'm not trying to defend them but at the end of the day if 343 didnt exist neither would this game. Bungie was done making Halo and wasnt going back.

And we gotta start placing the blame where it belongs, with Microsoft. Someone somewhere in that studio told them that this game was not going to be ready in term and they said they didnt care and put it out anywhere. BUT NAH, we gotta release on the Anniversary and get that hype money, and marketing and blah blah blah. 

Theres zero excuse for this, but if 343 was an independent that game would have gotten pushed back no questions. They knew it was broken but have zero input.

I just bought an Xbox One last Saturday for $80 (traded in PS3 and Xbox 360 along with hundreds of games to best buy). I bought the Assassins Creed bundle and also got the Halo MCC as well.

What else should I look to buy or do? I'm not really an Xbox guy, and I wasn't so impressed with the console when I got home and opened it up. I'll most likely be playing the PS4 more often, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got it the system for.

If I buy a brand new car and it runs but the AC and radio don't work Id still be pissed off.

I want what I paid for. ALL parties involved are to blame but last time I checked 343 is the one taking credit for the game

I've gotten past being mad about this launch unless Wednesday comes and goes with nothing of substance happening but I doubt that. No way they tell us about it a week in advance letting all this build up occur and it doesnt work.

I've only played the prologue and the first episode. Did you play through the second yet?

If wednesday comes and the game is still in shambles it's a wrap for 343. The fan boys (on waypoint forums) are waiting like its the 2nd coming of Jesus telling people to believe.


I do hope they fix the game. I love halo 1-3.

This. Part of the reason why developers get away with releasing unfinished games is because us as consumers say stuff like that. "At least this part is working". To hell with that, give me what I paid for

Is it possible to check the expiration on MS currency? I used the GS money to buy Halo MCC and then MS gave me a refund for it. I remember the currency had to be used before the end of the year. I don't want to lose my points but unless they fix Halo, I don't want anything on the X1 til like next year.

yea. I finished it up over the weekend. the second ep is shorter than the first ep, but it's still solid. wait till u see the ended though.

and I have to buy the soundtrack when it comes out next week

Been a while since I've owned a Nintendo console but I'm on the edge now. Mario cart, smash, and others (Zelda, mario, ect) are very tempting. My major worry is the usual garbage online Nintendo dishes out :x

Idk man mk8 has been great with online
Not sure what smash wii u will do though

OT but since you guys are talking Nintendo, is Skyward Sword worth a buy/play? I still have my old Wii collecting dust, only played Twilight Princess and never got around to playing SS. It's probably a no brainer and I'll probably end up grabbing it somewhere down the line anyway, but I figured I'd ask .

Skyward Sword is dope as hell. I really enjoyed it, the cut scenes got lengthy from time to time but I nerd out for Zelda so I didnt care

I get lag maybe 2/10 games

I'll see how smash fairs before I make a decision. WiiU's are everywhere for cheap (ish)

Customs usually end with one game being played, everyone getting kicked out, then 20 mins of trying to rejoin
