Customs usually end with one game being played, everyone getting kicked out, then 20 mins of trying to rejoin
my thoughts exactly. Im on Sunset until the update. If it works cool, if not I might try to return mine also. The game is too broken like it's not enjoyable at all.

In other news Destiny got a 2.5 gig update, added mad random stuff like team chat.

I dunno man, I still don't know how a repackage of old games with no new content was such a big deal in the first place.

The God of War series is my favorite in video games but as great as the remakes were big whoop. I'm happy to own them but they weren't a system breaker and shouldn't be.

The fact that there is so much Halo discussion in this thread and so little Sunset Overdrive discussion bothers me.

This why companies don't even try to break the mold, folks clamoring to buy the exact same game they already played literally.

Halo isnt a regular game man. Those games are timeless, if H2 XBL was still up people would still be playing it. Theyre that good of games, they dont need to change anything about them.

CE on XBL is technically new content and thats a huge deal.

With Halo moving further and further away from the core mechanics that gained them this fanbase in the first place, these three games are more important than ever. They're the last "Pure Halo" experience we're ever gonna get.

You don't play multiplayer so it isn't fun to you. God of War is single player so it remastered is whatever.. But a good and fun MP will never get old. Srs

God of War was cool but it wasn't innovative to compared to the Halo series.

Sunset is a fun game also but what is innovative about it to really give it the WOW factor. I enjoy playing it but only thing I can do is compare it to other games.

Halo 2 was Xbox Live at one point, it set the thread for gaming, competition and FPS. I think that is why so many here hold the series so close. We spent a lot of hours on the series. GTA is a similar series, innovation, changed the way video games are looked at and developed.

Halo made Xbox live now and is the first game with an online ranking system?

Not sure if serious

Not sure if you even read the post. When did i say FIRST? The game set the bar and was a major reason Xbox and xbox live exists today. LeadIng game producers acknowledge that but I guess you're above that. I assure you it wasn't oddworld that had people lining up to buy an Xbox and having LAN parties.

And yes for a LONG time Xbox live was ruled by halo2. Not only that the halo2 UI is still being copied. They were one of the first to actually organize games for you along with your friends list and messaging system

Naw but you got it. It's overrated

Halo maynot be a lot of things but you can't deny it's impact on shooters and the viability of the Xbox in general.

Let me clarify the original Halo definitely helped launch the Xbox and was a great game.

Every Halo after that is overrated.

Skyward Sword is dope as hell. I really enjoyed it, the cut scenes got lengthy from time to time but I nerd out for Zelda so I didnt care
Same here . Majora's Mask is my favorite game ever, I usually give it a playthrough every other summer. I've never really been disappointed in a console Zelda, although Twilight Princess was a little annoying using the Wii controller, which is what originally turned me off from getting Skyward Sword. I'll probably end up grabbing it after the new year.

I do the same with OoT (The real GOAT). Once a year like clockwork. Still invokes the feels.

Still never beat :smh:
My 8year old has and the master quest
And a link between worlds and its hero mode

I agree with Halo being overrated, it was just the shooter that came out during the start of online console gaming.  It did bring things that are now standard to console shooters, lobbies, vehicles, shields or regenerative health, etc.. But Quake 3 arena, and Unreal Tournament were better games IMO.  Just didn't have the right time, right place as Halo did with console gaming.

If you played Quake or Unreal, you'd agree, Halo was HEAVILY influenced by those games.  Added shields, vehicles, put it in space, and let you play a FPS with a controller and it was a hit.

 Yeah OoT was equally amazing as MM, I just prefer MM. I love the whole resetting time aspect and the mask sidequests, skulltula houses, other sidequests are all great.

Mario 64 is a classic too :pimp:.

And SneakerPro, just because you don't like Halo 2 doesn't make it overrated. The online multiplayer/UI/etc are all still being copied in games coming out today. It set the bar for pretty much all console FPS's.

Don't you slander OoT...

Gonna make me reach through my computer screen and
give you a big hug

OoT is still a 10 but M64 is gaming perfection. You were mario, you had the ability to run around any way you wanted to, go beat the game. Simple.

Nintendo just did it perfectly

OoT is perfect but M64 is perfecter??

Man that's like saying super Mario for NES was just the platformer that came out when consoles became better

Calling Halo overrated is just excessive, I'm admittedly not a fan but so many people enjoy the Halo series of games that it has to deliver for that many people to be into it.

This man knows... long live the GOAT OoT :D

Also, why you dudes arguing with that troll bamez bamez he's one of those diehard Sony guys.

He just came in here and admitted the greatness of Halo but then tried to downplay it saying it was the time of release that made it so popular :smh:

Last of Us, never played it, but people say it was so good because of the story or whatever, but MGS franchise is what set the bar for story telling in a game, as well as Zelda and a lot of Square rpg's but that doesn't make Last of Us overrated.

Also, GTA: San Andreas deserves a nod as one of the all time greats since we're giving praise.
