And it shows online. The community from my experience is at the state halo 3 is in now 7 years after release. You either play people who live and breath halo or 5 year olds. I had high hopes for the game lasting but after all this that hope is gone. I see the game dying out within a year or so. People will still play it but not many

It's very unfortunate. I wasn't a Halo fan but I was thinking this game would change that. I know I can pick it up later when it's completely fixed but there are a lot of games dropping next year and I probably won't have the time to really take the time to learn how to play and be good. As long as there's people always playing though, it'll be enough to keep the diehards happy and it think that's really all that matters.

What he said is an exaggeration. Even during H3s "End" it was pulling decent numbers. H3 at the end of September was pulling 5k nightly and got close to 10k on weekends form time to time. Right now Halo Reach is still pulling in the high 10ks. These games are beyond old

I never expected the game to do H3 prime 1.5 million people on at once numbers. The XB1 isn't widely available enough for that but it'll be fine, it isnt gonna die, the 360 games arent even dead or close to it. If I had a 360 I could go search H3 right now and get a game in seconds. You guys underestimate Halos draw man.

I was still getting quality games until the day I stopped owning a 360, people even stopped cheating it was glorious. Every playlist except Team Snipers had people in it to where I could find games.

This game will be fine, once its fixed, people will come back, will it be as many as they could have had at launch if it worked? Nope, but TBH who cares about  a lot those people, Halo is a novelty to most them they were gonna leave anyways once the next attention grabbing thing comes along. Population doesnt dictate the quality of Halo to me, people who know how to play do. As long as I could find games I'm straight and I know I'll be able to.

And i disagree with the people will come back when it's fixed statement. For the younger crowd "good" halo is just a myth. All they know is garbage halo 4. I doubt that alone will bring them in. We're almost a month into the game being out and STILL the thing is a buggy mess. This isn't 2005 anymore, they're too many options to sit and wait for one game to work

, its the only good shooter on Xbox as it stands and will stand a year from now. We'll never know cause 343 wont release population numbers but I cant ride with that man.

Not that low but within that relm yes. When halo 5 drops (good or bad) it will effectively kill MCC numbers for sure. I agree it's the best shooter out BUT that just our opinion. Cod and destiny alone eat up much of the population


If MCC was standing strong and worked I'd have a completely different outlook at it but with the complete ongoing disaster of a release I can't really fault people especially newcomers for walking away

Well my XBL is still down and these nerds plan to do this again but on a wider scale on Christmas. Apparently its the same people who took down PSN for weeks last year. Should be awesome

I agree with Blaster. Speaking from my own personally; I had high hopes for Halo. I never really played it before and was really looking to get into it with the MCC. It was going to be my go to FPS. Almost a month later, I could almost care less about it. I already got 3 other games in rotation and got my sights set on next years early releases i.e. The Order, Bloodborne and FF Type-0 HD. The only people besides Halo fans that I can see sticking with this or coming back are people who only play FPS and even some of them will be jumping on BF:Hardline in March. There are just too many games dropping next year and those are just the games that we know of.

They could very well be talking about last weeks patch and just failed to do any sort of research whatsoever, because a quick look at twitter would tell you thats not the case. But I hope theyre not that dense

How do they make a video like this without doing any type of "research". Literally all they had to do was fire up MCC and play a game or 2 and they would've seen that it's not fixed .

No... They've been had these deals. If you purchase from the Ms store you get credits. This was nothing new. Just that most people either bought it digitally or from a brick and mortar store
