So you havent tried it since? Cause I never have to wait that long to find games to begin with, you never know you could be one of the lucky ones.

Yeah after these recent patches I thought it was 100% fixed because I'm hoping in and out of games like nothing.

1-2 minutes... 3-4 max... if that.

Did all you Sony dudes return your system all those times the PSN was down/hacked bamez ?

Nah, i wasn't paying for PSN back when the time PSN was hacked.  They gave us 3 free games once it was fixed though.  Thats also the difference, it was hacked, from what i'm reading in here Halo was broken on release date, from menus not even working to the issues still being addressed on this page.

I returned Unity because it was broke.  DriveClub was broke at launch and it was delayed 1 year after initial release date.  

  

BF4 wasn't perfect, but i also wasn't waiting for a game 5+ minutes.  Playing with a party was a pain, but thats because they never included partying up before getting into a game until months after.

Halo is MILES better than what it was. I can get games in about 2 minutes, and I was one of the people who literally could not find a game for the first month.

Only real gripe is that I can't continue with a party after the game has completed and have to start a new search.

Here's my main gripe with Halo MCC and its not the game's fault.

The VAST majority of people putting up with 343's tomfoolery and waiting on standby are the halo fans and those who maintain somewhat of a skill level.

It leaves people like me who have average or less skill in the game complete food who die instantly, constantly get flanked, never do anything for the team, and end up getting down talked by the other folks in the team or the lobby.

It just sucks cuz i'd like to play some casual halo games but since im really not that good at it, playing online w/ the sharks has become pretty much out of the question cuz i cant keep up.

Kinda feel like some of the folks who say cod is a terrible game and it takes no skill when deep down they're just not very good at it and refuse to admit it. (not saying everyone who has an opinion that cod isnt fun is bad... just an example cuz its the one that is most thrown around)

that being said.. im down for customs if NT runs some soon

I used to play halo 3 for hours on end when i was in HS...

but ive since moved onto the CoD franchise and I love it.

Going back to halo was cool for the nostalgia but im so bad at it now!

I'm speaking just from a pub stomping stand point. Im sure competitively it takes some skill and team work.

This year they implemented skill based match making to even the playing field.

That way people dont get completely thrashed by "pub stompers"


Unfortunately, with halo, the current player base is limited to die hard fans of the franchise and cant really implement that.

I'm sure halo 5 will bring rookies back in but i dont wanna play that.. i wanna relive halo 3

imo cod doesnt take skill to play and be decent

but i think it does take skill to play and be consistently good... theres ranked play and up to competitive play for a reason.

its an "easy to play hard to master" kinda thing.

I was making my way up the dom leaderboards (got up to 6,000) on AW this year with significantly less time played than most the ppl above me but its a never ending race simply beacuse its based purely on total score now which i dont like either. I agree w/ u that it should be based on score per minute because theres no denying that having high SPM = you're actually a high contributor

I'm now currently ~9,000's on dom leaderboards... its just too hard for me to play enough to keep up.. but its nice to see that i have less time played than a lot of people "higher" than me.

I've been said it. The halo community has been shot to hell. Online MM games aren't even fun. They're one sided 95% of the time. I HOPE this changes but I'm not holding my breath

Man I'm proud of that screenshot. It's the last one I got left being #1 ahead of millions felt great. I'm sure if I tried to get into it again I'll be trash since I ain't played a cod serious since the og blops. Tried mw3 and blops 2 and wasn't really feeling it for some reason and never took it serious like when I was younger and playing on a monitor and some headphones. I did redo that for halo mcc but I want to break my Xbox now

Bruh you know I hyped the game up, even made the thread for it. After such a horrible MONTH I think I've played it for a total of 3-4 hours MAX including waiting time. I can't defend the game any longer. I said this before, I had 20-30 people on my Flist on the first 2-3 days of release. Now I might have 1 but most likely ZERO.

I have ZERO friends with forge maps made. It's a complete failure as of now.

You use that mic for streaming? You stream straight off the pc? You need a capture card or something to do that

Also Blaster I feel you. I got most my time in on launch day. The game has been a failure, Antidope you can't change my mind I was hype the weekend before it launched with the tournament that went on. It's tournament stream on twitch which peaked at like 60k viewers and the chat spamming #weback. Nah we ain't. It's a wrap more like.

**** 343 and **** halo 5 they can kiss my ***. Considered buying cod aw that's how bad it is.
