Got an invite to the preview program kinda hesitant on going thru with it. What's the verdict yay or nah? Also my boy gonna lemme get a MCC code when he gets back in town. I haven't played halo in years, I'm a shake the rust off and once halo is working properly hopefully we can get an NY tournament going.

I'm not touching the preview beta program.

Running a BETA operating system on your ONLY piece of hardware is extremely risky I don't recommend it.

Even a couple people in here who have had it it messed up their gaming experience a couple times

Last night went from deep and philosophical to down right raunchy

I'll be on tonight around 9 if anyone is down to run a few games

With that said, I'd like to get the ball rolling on the Halo 2v2 tournament. I'm not too sure how we want to handle which Halo we would play within the tourney, I say we play H2C (BR start, no radar, etc) but I know some people love H1, H3 and non-"MLG" settings. Based on the turnout, we can decide if we will do a round robin or bracket. Suggestions are appreciated.

If interested, leave a message

Thanks everyone! :D

The last one I signed up on had H2 and H3 gametypes that went into a voting pool of three gametypes so you'd get three choices, Lockout BRs, Guardian BRs, or Sanc BRs. If theres a deadlock then the first option wins just like MatchMaking.

Best of three series with alternating hosts.

The random teams thing is still an idea that should be used, letting people pick teams is just going to lead to stacked teams and ruin it for everybody.

I feel like you'd have to play with radar on too. Playing with no radar would just cause people not to want to play

There will never be a consensus on this

Thanks man, I appreciate the insight.

I agree that randomizing team and maps (across all 3 original games) would lead to more balanced play. As for radar and starting weapons, I'll let everyone post their thoughts.

I gotta figure out why I can't get into a match, definitely want to get in on a NT tourney

I'm down for a Halo tourney. I'd prefer H2C, H3, BR starts, Radar ON. A 2v2 game with no radar just seems like it'd be a little stale imo.

For what its worth, if I had a say in it, there would be no radar.
