The more I think about this the more obvious it gets. The 12/22 patch is the first patch where things got worse for everyone across the board, and what came out right after that? The beta. Then patches are being delayed almost a month for "quality fixes" and it supposedly being a large patch, but when is it gonna come out? Right around the time the H5 beta ends. They really think they're slick or that we're idiots.

Destiny is the biggest offender last year of releasing an incomplete game that is pieced together via DLC.

The biggest crime the gaming industry is clinging to outside of releasing a fundamentally broken game.

Complete game meaning I can fire it up and play all my game modes flawlessly. Can you say that about halo but you guys keep hoping and pray that p.o.s. works. i've never defended 343 / halo mcc and im not even a big halo fan. i was when i was younger, i've since moved on... Call of Duty is my main game. its what i know, love, am good at, etc.

Destiny's story is planned to be finished through DLC..... THAT EXISTS ON THE DISK.

Thats the biggest crime you can commit as a publisher.... disk locked content... I was really pissed at Activision for that.

The game was fun until i noticed what was going on. Pay more to finish it... Pay more to get an advantage... i do not like that so i stopped playing.

Ubisoft and M$ were worse with Assassins Creed unity and Halo MCC.. Because they were just about completely unplayable at launch.. but all im saying is activision is DIRTY for stooping to capcom's Disk Locked content scheme... look how it worked out for them...

I enjoyed the 2 hrs i've played H5 beta (don't want to get hooked and its over next week)

We had a few really good NT runs on destiny..

Some of the most fun i've had on destiny was rolling with the NT folks just hating on how lacking it is in content

I miss population counters, annoying that Devs have gone away from them to hide their failures of population retention.

On weekends it would hit 15k.

I doubt Call of Duty in Space is having retention like that.

IN THIS DAY AND AGE WHERE SHOOTERS HAVE A LIFESPAN OF 1-3 MONTHS, NAME THE LAST SHOOTER THAT HAD HIGH RETENTION. I BET THE ANSWER WILL BE HALO 3. SHOOTERS JUST DON'T HAVE A LONG RETENTION RATE ANYMORE. DESTINY IS THE CLOSEST WE HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. YOU CAN TELL OF THE EASE OF FINDING GAMES, THE ACTION THE REDDIT PAGES GET, HELL EVEN THE THREAD ON NIKETALK IS WILDLY ACTIVE.

If the developers say it ain't an MMO it ain't an MMO. It has light and I mean very light MMO traits but for the most part it's an FPS RPG.

Exactly I felt cheated playing that and I caught on to it quickly like how the beta had the 1/4 of the campaign handed to you with it letting you do all the missions on Earth and it was just overall lacking in everything. I know Activision had a hand in screwing up the game somehow I remember on reading about all the great things that would be on destiny prior to release from reddit and whatnot but it had none of that

i deff think Activision just made Bungie break up bits of the campaign just to try and make as much money off us consumers as possible. Angry Joe did a discussion vid about this as well highlighting the problems early on with the game after his review of it and they make some good points about it

Fully functioning =/= Complete

Destiny was one of the more disappointing games in 2014. The gameplay mechanics are solid but the incredible lack of content as well as the high price point for DLC are what kept me from playing the game more than I wanted

I love yall I really do (no moe) yall all make valid points. I look at it like this games these days are gonna cost you more than the 60 bucks if you wanna truly enjoy all the content. Is it far? No but thats the way it is. Nobody forcing you to buy the dlc. Hell for destiny I got the guarding pack for 70 bucks cant beat that. Some of yall are like a little kid whos daddy didnt show up and your sitting in the window hoping he is going to show up. Halo is broke beyond broke but soem of you sitting here well I just wait it out or ill get a refund then buy it back when its fixed. Its been what 2 months and they still aint fix that ish. Come on bruhs

Gotta say, between Destiny and MCC letdowns, I just haven't been as interested in video games lately. I used to get on all the time after work for an hour or so, but now I'm just watching netflix, etc. cause there isn't a game around right now that I'm super interested in.

Tempted to download Banjo Kazooie/Tooie for my 360 for the throwback lulz. But they're $15 each
