I normally wouldn't recommend buying a console for one game but lord knows I'd buy any console to play FF XV if that was the case. I actually told my brother if a Gears Collection doesn't get announced this year, I'll most likely scoop up a cheap 360 just to play Gears. That being said, I undestand Anti's pain

xb1 pros:
Regular updates that adds fan picked features to the console such as custom backgrounds, usb media playback, etc
multitasking. You can do two things at once.
suspend/resume. You turn off your xb1, then turn it on the next day. You're back in the game exactly where left out.
non-gimmicky controller. The impulse triggers add little subtleties to games and the rubber lining on the thumbsticks adds some grip. Which enhance the experience.
It updates games/downloads purchases, even if the console is off.
smartglass app, it's basically xbox facebook
The OS makes everything easy to find and you can bookmark certain games/apps like the 360.
You can smoothly play games off of an external hdd.
ea access app, which gives you full access to battlefield 4, sports games, plants vs zombies for $30 a year, it's videogame netflix
You can stream videos to your xb1 or play them through a usb drive
Great exclusives so far. Forza Horizon 2, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Halo. m$ is already gearing up for Holiday 2015 with halo 5 and quantam break
As of right now, you get to keep all the free games you get with xbox live. The games don't go away once you stop your xbox live subscription.
You can gameshare with a trusted friend. You both can work out a deal where you can get new games for $30 a piece.
xbox rewards. You get xbox currency for buying stuff. Nothing major.
Superior online network of supposedly 300,000 servers. Which leads to fewer network issues. m$ provides dedicated servers to some games like titanfall
-I heard that Sony is getting Spotify support to actually have music while ur playing a game, but how often are you going to multi-task apps on Xbox?? If i wanted to browse the interwebz, i would just use laptop or phone.

-The Xbone controller is actually saucy, so saucy that i have the Xbone thumbsticks on my Dualshock 4.
pimp.gif

-but i dont play online enough to actually care about Xbox Live or PSN+

I read that Spotify might come to Xbox later as well. PS is getting it first. I don't think Xbox really needs it though since it has pandora.

There is more to multi task that browsing the web, like having the Knicks game playing while you are playing a game.

I have Spotify, I use it daily, but I am not using it while I am playing a game, U really want to blast 2 Chainz while in a Search and Destroy match? Uneeded feature IMO

It looks like you are bigger on 1 player games, what games are currently on your radar? From that comment along however I recommend get a PS4. The 1 player options are slightly better, Xbox is great for games with friends.

I honestly don't know why every game off mcc I play is soo lopsided. I either get matched with the worst halo players in the world or Mlg pros. No in between

might be a while considering Spotify is selective when it comes down to its services..

Pandora is dope, havent used it in a while but can you make ur own playlist

I'm good on PC's, I only use Macs. I play my Xbox more than my PS4, linked with a few NT heads on PS4 a couple times but mostly I go on there and just enjoy some games to myself lol. Yeah it really depends on your immediate gaming circle. The online service is good for the free games, overall PS+ gives better free games compared to GWG.

Game sharing is really the best feature to use Xbox over PS4, I've save a crap load of money since I started doing that and now i have a nice backlog of games.

U good with PS4 cuz of Street Fighter, MK dropped this year also. I am not as familar with RPG's someone else may have a better time scales of big titles dropping this year.

For more than an hour? Send vid please. My Xbox game sharer will cop a PS4 now if that is the case.

If I can get any feature thrown into a game.. it would be Pandora/Spotify intergratation in open world games like GTA.
I hate having it playing over the game. I be missing all types of dialogue and objectives.

What does your game collection look like?

Disc>>>Digital IMO, unless it's cheap or has forza horizon in the title.

Just before the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, you may recall that the Halo Bulletin moved to video form for the first time, taking our weekly written news drop of all things Halo and video-ifying it. While we hope you’re enjoying the new Bulletin on The Halo Channel, we recognize that it is sometimes better (and necessary) to provide updates in the traditional blog form. Thus, I’d like to provide an update on developments across the studio, including MCC content and playlist updates as well as Halo 5. Let’s get to it.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Content Updates
Continued improvement to the MCC experience remains our top priority as a studio. Work on our upcoming content update focuses on three major areas:
  • Matchmaking search time
  • Match search success
  • Lobby / Party Functionality
Fundamental changes to these systems will improve the overall experience while also allowing us to address additional issues such as title-specific hit registration, matchmaking ranking, and beyond. As this update contains the biggest changes to the Matchmaking system yet, we’ve identified that additional time and testing is required, and we are currently evaluating both timing and need for a CU beta with the Xbox One Preview program, as well as the final public release date in February. We’ll continue to provide the latest updates here on Waypoint.

Lastly, I’d like to thank those of you on Waypoint, r/Halo, Twitter, and elsewhere who have continued to provide info regarding issues you’ve encountered, and more specifically identifying which ones are most important to you – your continued feedback has been invaluable as we work to prioritize fixes within the CU schedule.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection Playlist Updates
As the dev team works on the above content update and beyond, the playlist team continues to work on upcoming experiences, including featured playlists, updates to existing playlists (available game types, voting options, etc), and more. In the near future, we are aiming to release Team Snipers and an objective-only playlist as featured playlists, and also converting the Halo 2: Anniversary Rumble playlist into a cross-game Rumble Pit playlist. We know Team Doubles remains at the top of many wish lists, and it remains at the top of ours as well, but we need to resolve some team creation issues before we can deploy it. So it’s on hold for now, and these fixes are being slotted into content updates. As always, we’ll keep an eye on playlist data to determine what stays, what goes, and what’s next.
Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta – What’s Next
During and since the beta, the Halo 5 team has been pouring over community feedback and data to build an extensive list of improvements for the game. I’ve been able to discuss some of the changes with Executive Producer Josh Holmes, and he’s working on a blog that will provide you with the details of what the team is working on, complete with a healthy list of learnings and changes from the beta. Stay tuned – I’m excited about it and I think it’s gonna be a good one.

I look forward to providing more regular updates in this same fashion across the above areas and beyond, and certainly recognize that they should’ve come a bit sooner. Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back again soon with the latest.

Bravo
Theyre getting more and more confident that this is gonna be the patch to fix the game.

"Stuff to Maintain and Grow populations". Nothing short of making this game free is going to bring a large amount of people back. I dont even care they dont refund people who still have it, but making it free or 20$ at most is the right thing to do.
