I see. It was pretty choppy, as soon as I put my mic on.
Regardless BF HL is a solid title. Hopefully the story is better, but I highly doubt it.

Dont care about story mode on FPS titles that are played primarily in a competitive nature online (BF, CoD, Halo... and i know... halo campaign was great... just saying.... etc)
99% of the time they play themselves and u just run from cutscene to cutscene.
If they had a fully integrated drop in co-op mode for the campaigns that'd be way better... i think thats why i LOOOOVED halo 3 campaign.
Then theres First Person (shooter sometimes) games like Far Cry, Dying Light, etc where its the exact opposite... almost wish there was no competitive multiplayer so that the world could be that much more immersive.

A DLC as huge as BF:HL is going to be will set the bar way too high for DLC packs though... (Unfortunately for us)
That'd be sick though... If publishers went back to the "expansion pack" mentality... DLC's big enough to stand alone as full titles.

My first thoughts on BFHL:
- Game plays really fast for a BF game.
- The guns seem a little weird, I think I just might be used to my sights and adjustments from the current BF.
- team play is far out the door even though two of the options in MP are for teams! Gotta play in squads but that's BF.
- you die really fast
- for a Beta it looked good and ran real smooth. Only had one problem with frames dropping, but it's a beta so who cares.
- I felt like I wanted to play way more heists! I would also love some dlc down the road for like heists in different t eras. (40s/50s gangsters and such) random but I do like the heists MP.

One question for both of you. Have either of you ever played the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory games?
The Heist mode kinda reminded me of that, where it seemed like the Loot was slowly moved battle by battle toward the escape
Do you think there is a valid comparison there, or is it just a variation on CTF?

Depends on your needs.
Power saver, if you don't mind doing something else while your xb1 starts up.
insta, if you want to jump into your game asap and for your xb1 to download stuff while "off" or while you're away.

I got home late so I didn't do my weekly Destiny tasks, played some BF tho. It's def different, I think Ill def cop for a different feel. I am just getting into COD, finally conforming to play core being the lack of support for Hardcore gametypes.
The cops and robbers was def fun, fast paced but not something I would play regularly. Heists was more my style, like a faster paced search and destroy.
My bro caught a PS4 yesterday for the low on Craiglist, so I am the gamesharing czar now! Quick set up, he downloaded my RE remaster with ease. God bless next gen.

Not a fan of Hardline as of yet. Feels wierd. Don't like the circular, small maps. Too close in. I prefer the open fields of old Battlefields.

so my PS4 crapped out 17 days after the 1 year warranty expired....would turn on and then turn back off... 
gave it to someone to repair it and try to reball it, but said it was the GPU and basically a paper weight/weed plate...
so now i'm thinking of going back to the xbox (had xbox 360)....
anyone with both consoles have any feedback on this decision? lol anyone who has both but prefer xbox? or vice versa

But seriously they both dope but I like the Xbox controller better, PS4 died a lot, I like the multiplaying experience on Xbox more, just cause most my peoples on Xbox. The snapped feature, cable box little stuff make Xbox better to me. Don't worry you will get more detailed pointers once cats see your question.
