For those who don't do digital the Best Buy Gamers CLub is $30 on sale for the year. New Games are like $47 and the trade in is nice with them, compared to RapeStop. I was gonna cop but my bro has it, I do mostly digital but certain games I don't game share I can just cop the disk and trade it in.

Same thing I did. I realized that I'm not really game sharing a lot anymore and could save a few bucks with all the games I plan on purchasing this year. Those trade in values are clutch too if that's your thing.

I know an Arcade racer isn't like a 250+ hour RPG, but you mean to tell me after months of hearing about your undying love for FH2 you've only played 40+ hours?!?!

On the friends app, it says I've played 78 hours. IDK which time is correct, so I'm going with the time it says in the game.

I own 5 consoles.

Lastly, which game's tracklist have you listened to 2K times?

Im just playing around, your posts are one of the few consistent, funny, and non-complaining, additions to this thread. 40 still sounds low to me though, you could knock that out in a couple weeks easy.

To answer your soundtrack question, Im sure Ive never gotten anywhere close to 2k plays, but if I had to guess Id say that GTAIII-San Andreas got by far the most action outside of the actual game.

I wouldn't be surprised if I had over 2000 plays from the combined Final Fantasy OSTs. I usually listen to FF songs whenever I am grinding in a JRPG or playing FF XIV.

I played all the older FF games growing up. FF9 is my favorite.

Last FF I played was FF X-2 over 10 years ago

I've never been able to get into Kingdom Hearts but I'm going to try again when SE drops the inevitable PS4 (possibly X1 too) port. I can't play KH3 without playing the first two.

I think FF XV will be revolutionary. That game looks amazing and Yoko Shimomura doing the OST makes me happy, her resume is

 I love the darker theme they're going with and hopefully we get a good story.

I've never finished a FF game, but I'm several hours into FF13.

Most recent FF games are like 40-50 hours. You'll have to dedicate a lot of time to get the most out of it.

There's 3 FF demos on the 360, which I believe are still available.

FF Lightning Returns as the best combat system, from what I played in the demo IMO.

Like everyone said, the music will touch your soul.

Like everyone said, Nobou Uematsu music's will touch your soul.

I'm not knocking Masashi Hamauzu (FF XIII composer) at all but you really have to play through Final Fantasy I thru Final Fantasy X to really understand just how great Nobou Uematsu is. His absence is part of the reason (among various others) why I didn't find FF X-2, FF XII and the FF XIII as enjoyable as the  previous entries. Here are some of his more known pieces.

Yeah I'm not familiar with FF music but I think Halo music was pretty good. Destiny is good also.

I think I gotta first appreicate the newer FFs, before I can convince myself to delve into earlier FFs.

Yeah JRPGs usually average 30-40+ hours.

FF VII (most popular) will be coming to PS4 soon, it's a PC port but it should be fine and worthy of a try if you really want to get into the series.
