I haven't seen a video of recent bf hardline but I'm buying it just cause..last one I played was bc2 and it was cool..I built a pc just for that.

I was never really good at bf gun wise but I always play the objective no matter what game it is

I think I'm passing on BFH. Type-0 HD drops that same day and I have that whole week off
smokin.gif
Bloodborne drops the week after and I'm probably picking up Borderlands to run with some of the guys in here.

I hope there aren't any release day issues. I doubt I'll get it release day, maybe I'll wait a week. So many games to play so little time. I think I'll take some days off since my bday is the 29th. I'll just play while my girl is at work.

I'll prob be awol until borderlands Zelda got my attention right now lol I'm addicted to my DS like a 7 Yr old

Im kinda interested in BFH, and your guys streams look pretty encouraging.
But last time I played any BF was BF3, and the gunplay was so janky I couldn't stay interested after more than a week

Any comments from some of you who played the Beta would be appreciated

Which Zelda you playing?

I grabbed chrono off ebay for under $30. Wifey wanted mario kart so I went to rapestop Saturday and grabbed a link between two worlds used. Trying to run through it and return it

I like how they revamped a link to the past story, I've been sleeping on Nintendo man they been Doing good stuff. Doubt I'll get. wii U I barely give my Ps4 love. But Xbox and DS are my babies now.

I played ~9 hours on the beta...

Pros:

- The money system allows you to unlock items as you choose to rather than the current progression system.
- For example, on BF4, if I want the 5th gun on the list, I have to unlock guns 2-4 first. On Hardline you earn "money" to use to directly unlock gun 5.

- Gunplay is much "easier" feeling than previous battlefields. Guns seems to have a lot less recoil and I feel like you're punished a lot less for moving while shooting.

- Lots of gametypes and lots of NEW gametypes (although i love conquest  )

- Each "class" can have multiple loadouts unlike previous Battlefields
- For example, lets say you're an engineer, you previously can only have ONE set engineer class. Now, you can have multiple so If you get in a situation where the enemy team is abusing helis and planes, u can switch to a pre-made class to deal with anti-air rather than having to make a new one.

Cons:

- Seperation of gun / gadgets. Cops and robbers have their own unlocking progression. Meaning some guns and some gadgets are exclusive to cops and some to robbers.
-Side note: ALL money earned is for both classes so thats good.... Money earned as a cop can be used to unlock things as a robber...

- EA

- Potential launch issues due to historic releases done by EA

- There will be a huge skill gap playing against squads on certain objective based game types... but IMO thats to be expected.

Repped, thanks very much for the write-up

Very encouraged to hear that the gunplay is a little easier, with less recoil than typical BF

Ive always been drawn to the squad-roles and Objective emphasis of BF, but I couldn't ever get really into it because the gunplay turned me off
Hopefully BFH will be the one that brings it all together for me

Once i got used to it, im perfectly fine with it.

But when i spent all the money i had one guns for my cop i was a little taken back the next round when I had like $150 and no "good" guns to use as a robber

Servers gonna be MCC for BF day one.

My hope are high because the beta was smooth as butter.

and also, EA cant suffer many more horrible launches.

Launch day will be rough no matter what game because the amount of people trying to play vs. the amount of server space will always be very unbalanced.

I highly doubt we'll see a launch where the match making literally doesnt work like with 343/M$ in a very long time.

Halo servers were down not because of high demand but because the game was broken

Given recent trends, they should rename collector's edition to sucker's edition.

Played some MW3 yesterday :pimp: :pimp:. Wish I still had my copy of MW2. I love going back and playing the old CODs. Makes me appreciate them that much more.
