Went to Best Buy earlier around 7pm and the worker said they didn't have any info on getting XBOX Ones or PS4's but their stock locater says the XBOX's are in stock. Not sure if they're just holding them for midnight or they really don't have them

Thought u were doing a trade
Dude flaked smh
dude did a 180

But is it worth investing in 120hz vs 60hz ?

Yes

No, it doesn't make that huge of a difference for games.
Sports is the main thing I've seen tv review sites reccomend 120hz for.
60hz is good enough for gaming since, 60fps is the standard right now(I think).

I game on a 60hz TV, or 120hz monitor, I definitely notice a difference going to a 120hz gaming monitor. The game looks smoother on screen.

I would guess the same would be true for a 120hz television

If your gaming on a true 120hz Monitor yes that's beneficial but if your gaming on a TV that isn't true 120hz and has one of those motion interpolation features that add frames to the picture for a "smoothing effect" your doing it wrong. Keep the TV in game mode for the best results.

Just got an xbone earlier tonight. Is there a way to download the update to a USB instead of using WiFi? Don't have internet access at the moment

so i just got home, Best Buy had 18 XBOnes in stock for the midnight release and i was able to cop 2 thanks to my GF being there with me.

so ill see you guys online!  i only have NBA 2k right now.  i still havent traded up my COD Ghosts because ill probably still play it on 360 with my friends for a couple weeks until they get Ones.  and ill wait for a price drop on Forza, hopefully a cyber monday deal

but ya anyway im stoked

Not really for gaming you want 60hz. The more processing features running the more lag. That's why TVs have gaming mode. It puts all the settings to the most basic to stop the lag.

There are so many gamers that don't know this, If the tv doesn't have game mode then you shouldn't be gaming on it.  When I was at best buy picking up my Xbox One at the midnight release some dude was trying to tell someone else that he need a 240hz tv with all the motion crap on.

The tv calibration mode on the xbox one is actually quite decent and the first thing that you should do to play video games is to turn off anything that may add to input lag.
