I know "go play other games" is an easy response but realistically if he doesn't like those games then it's pointless to even post these lists of available lists

He's stated in the past that he hasn't looked into copping other games, so IDK what he's talking about.

The way this man breaks down the way Halo is "supposed" to be played, he doesn't have to play any other games to know he doesn't like other FPS. I believe you should play a game before judging it but sometimes you just know off rip that a particular game isn't for you.

Keeping funky there isn't a single game avaible for either next gen system that justified either purchase.

Like I play my Xbox One and PS4 often but I haven't experienced anything on either system that made me say "damn I'm happy I bought this"

My favorite game in the last two years is Shadow of Modor and that was available on last gen systems.

It doesnt drop May? I don't follow Destiny too much, nothing else for me to acquire on that game. Ill be back next DLC.

Nope didnt say that, what I said was that no other games are worth me spending $40-60$ on. I'm not about to go waste money on games I dont want to play for no reason.

I bought my Xbox 1. because I know that another Gears is coming. The remaster rumors just make it even better. 2. the wife paid for it and I wasn't going to turn that deal down

For me, Gears is the only reason to even own an Xbox. Sure, there are other games that I'll likley pick up here and there i.e. Quantum Break but overall that machine was made for Gears. That being said, if the X1 was my only console then I'd definitely pick up some multiplat games too.

I've played various other titles, the only game I've played consistently for the last ten years is Halo. If Bioshock comes out I'm gonna buy it, when MGS comes out I'm gonna buy it(September). Fallout, etc etc, but theres nothing out right now that I've seen that I'm gonna buy, I've seen bits and pieces of various games, Shadow of Mordor looks kinda shallow and I hate Lord of the Rings.

I fully planned on playing MCC exclusively for a good 2-3 years, and would have had no problems doing so. I would have had games that I already played in H2 and H3 to play with a huge leg up on, and I would have had the opportunity to learn to play Halo CE, that was worth $400 to me.

I feel like I'm starting to disturb the equilibrium of this thread

[/quote]Yeah I think many people with multiple consoles do the same. Sometimes I want to pick up games for the X1 to play with NTers, people at work but my brother plays on PS4, my younger brother just copped a PS4 and game share helps save $$$.

Unfortunately, the people behind BS went out of business.

You'd be able to find games that interest you by viewing reviews, let's plays, and what not.

SOM has deep combat system and it has little to do with LOTR.

It's the spritual sucessor to the arkham games.

LIke I said in the past, 300+ games have been released on xb1.

It's not that it's the fact you come in here and constantly complain about it being a netflix machine when it's been proven that it's more than just that. I think that's the issue some people have, but it's your xbox so you play it how you want it.

The combat systems of the arkham games and som are so similar.

I've finished arkham 1/2, SOM and I'm on ACO.

SOM is an arkham game set in LOTR lore.

side missions, collectibles, and serviceable cutscenes.

FC4 took me 30 hours to complete. 16 hours to complete on avg. 40 hours to 100%. Far from short.

Gamefly should be able to let your know what's out there.

Borderlands Collection is a must buy or rent.

You've stated that you look at games at face value.

You can't come to the conclusion that said games don't interest you by just looking at them at face value.

Perfect example for me. I thought driveclub was going to be meh, but I played it.

It's alright. It's no FH2 though.
