Man my nephew plays while I'm at work so I can't keep control of how much he plays. I know report cards are coming soon so once I get a hold of his we'll see if he's handling his school work or not.

When summer vacation rolled around I felt like a boss.

Playing at any given time... I know my mom use to get tight

i don't think I had a set schedule but I do remember I had to ask permission to play the game :rolleyes

I remember I would sit around watching my mom play Donkey Kong Country, hoping she'd get stuck just so I could "help" her get past a certain part. and then she'd take the controller right back >:

I had an older brother who was just leaving the house when I was 12-13. One Christmas I got an N64, Turok, and Mario 64. Id go to bed and wait a few hours, he would come get me after my parents went to bed, and we would play until 2-3 in the morning. We did this for a week or so straight, until my parents caught on... probably because I would be falling asleep at the dinner table.

I hated that weekly play bs so when I hit the end of jr hs and early hs it was over I would play for like 8 hours a day

Trying to complete multiple FF Disks or see how many temples on OOT i could finish

Worst was when you'd go get a new game from Blockbuster Friday night, find out an hour in it was trash, but were stuck with it for 2 days.

U had to be on your toes when you rented from Blockbuster, we all rented crappy games at one point. I remember they had they program with no late fees for returns, I had some game for like 3 months then they tried to charge me retail for the game lol

I tried going back with bad games saying I had, "Accidentally grabbed the wrong one." Only worked a handful of times, but it was clutch when it did.

"Oh, Mortal Kombat: Special Forces! That sounds perfect!"

Me too. I hate when my wife plans stuff on the weekends. I always tell her I need at least a 2-3 week notice before I can commit to anything outside of the house. Even then I never say yes or no, it's usually "I'll see what I can do"
