After I copped a40's for my xbox i copped a second set of a40s for work within a couple weeks.

most comfortable headset ive ever worn, phenomenal sound, and if u cop the mixamp it turns it into surround sound and its

Also, if it makes any difference, I've had like 3 turtle beach headsets, and since I got a really big head *pause* none of em were very comfortable to me.

What? The presentation of the game is what sets it apart from others. The remake downgrades that in every aspect expect graphics. The OG msg soundtrack is among the goat and they changed it.

I said the same thing back in 2011. It's lasted longer than most my friend's headsets and sounds better. Oh well, you are still going to spend some type of bread for a decent headset

Rising is a blast. It plays out like a cheesy anime. You can get it at GS for literally 5 bucks too.

It's def fun, but messed my head up being it MGS and the camera sucked on that game, annoying to use, especially with some of the boss battles.

Well like everything at some point you get what you pay for but there's always that sweet spot where cost and quality meet. Astros IMO are that. TB headphones are horribly put together.

How are the XB1 made Astro A40's going to work now that they changed the bottom of the controller?

I know the A40 that they specifically made for XB1 has that big piece that plugs in to the bottom and eliminates the chat adapter and the Astro A40 mixamp.

But, now that MS decided to go back to the 3.5 mm jack like the 360 does that make the headsets obsolete if you get the new controller... not talking about the $100 Elite controller.

The game was a couple of mechanics tweaks, better pacing and story polishing away from being great. The games starts off hitting the ground running, then slows down substantially, then end in epic anime cheese fashion (not a bad thing). They had the characters but didn't use them as much as they should.
