why is 6v6 such a bad thing?
Its a next-gen game with gigantic robots used for warfare.  There is obviously something serious going on when they have massive fleets in the sky that drop this titans directly into a battleground.  What war consists of 12 people, yes i know there are bots, but really?  Next-gen and you couldn't let more people play?

edit:  i know it was an early announcement, but does this game still not have a single-player campaign?

It's honestly not that bad.

But it's also 2014 and a new console. When are things going to evolve? In the trailers it looks like a straight war. Can 6v6 bring that?

Still hype for it. But I will wait to see first impressions.

What's that no mod support stuff all about?

6v6 is just fine imo.

9v9 is chaotic enough in ghosts.

I wouldn't want that chaoticness mixed with titans in titanfall.

6v6 becomes 12v12 with the AI controlled robots...

For a game I haven't played before that seems pretty dope.

I play FPS games w/ friends mostly anyways so not having 100v100 or what ever you guys want doesn't bother me

I've always felt ground war is too convoluted on cod :rolleyes

So 9v9 ground war is too convoluted, but 12 v 12 w/ jumping jetpacks and titans is just fine?  I'm confused.

x V x amount of players doesn't matter. It's the play type and style that changes the game.

I see a lot of y'all are following me on xbl but not friending me lol. I don't even know what that means

6v6 humans + another 6v6 robots on maps that appear to be larger than a typical cod map (from what small amount has been revealed to us) does not sound convoluted.

And yes, I do think 9v9 on a lot of the cod maps is simply too much at times.

Obviously 9v9 on say Chasm, or stonehaven isn't convoluted.

I was just speaking in general terms.

Sorry for confusing you.

 this

I play mostly 4v4 cod ghosts

and almost only did league play on bo2.

Like i said, I like playing with a tightly knit team.

Don't like to lose so I dont like having all these randoms on my team who suck.

Killer Instinct & COD players hit me! GT Shotta Messiah

Anyone has Rome? Is it worth copping? Reviews are really mixed online.

So you're all okay with a next gen console to have a game that already has 24 bodies in a lobby only being playable by 12 people at a time?  I hate to compare bc its not out yet, but BF2 (TWO!) on my old *** PC (wayyy worse specs that our next-gen consoles) could support 64 players in a lobby w/ tanks, w/ trucks, w/ helicopters, and jets

I don't think its a question of if the consoles are capable of 32 vs 32 but more of the issue of how the game plays with that many people in 1 lobby.

The average gamer can't even hold their own in 9 vs 9 in COD, every other game of ground war ends with 1 team being destroyed and the majority of the losing team backing out early.

Bf4 seems to be going well 32v32 seems like it's working well.

Kz:sf people are enjoying(maybe not) is that 12v12? 32v32.. It's the gameplay that matters not the player count. Less scrubs on my team the better.

It's not a matter of capable I don't think.. I'm sure they could add more players. But It's about balance

exactly. dudes that play games like gears of war can appreciate 6v6. it was a very successful at 4v4 and 5v5. halo too. its all about the gameplay at the end of the day. ill take a 6v6 that's good over a 12v12 that's straight hot garbage.

I have no doubts TF will be an extraordinary gaming experience.  But why not have options?  I assume there'll always be bots and assume it'll always be 12v12.

You want less bums on your team, have a set number in your party?  Cool, we'll let the rest of the team be bots...

You don't want AI on your team?  You have a friend or NT squad of 12?  Cool, you can all play on the same team together.

Just a few months ago, the gamers had a voice.  Microsoft listened, and changed to what you asked.  Why are we all so content on mediocre updates to games every year.  I'm speaking on all consoles and several titles now.  I wish we all stood up together and said, you know what, we REALLY DON'T need this game this year (annual FPS, sports, adventure titles)
