I been thinking they might go live based on the NDA also.

I think respawn said its not associated to a preorder but I didnt really pay any attention to the announcements because I do have it preordered.

You doing collectors? I need to see what add ons Gamestop has

As of now, just an in-store poster
No add-ons of any kind really, from any retailer. This game is coming straight up

Lol of course the game aint in beta no more.

This "beta" be just like the "alpha"... a hype magnet.

Using these terms instead of calling it what it is: a stripped down demo.

Also, unlike BF4, Titanfall is not being developed by a development company owned by EA. EA is only publishing the game.

Publishers are responsible for aspects such as marketing strategies and financing the developer company.

DICE, the development company that is responsible for BF was acquired by EA back in like 2006.

I have high hopes that Respawn will deliver a solid, ground breaking product as they are not working as an acquired company
I'm glad you broke this down because it's two words that scare me about Titanfall...

ELECTRONIC ARTS!!!

Everything they touch turns into ****.

Games that haven't been turned to .... by EA.

Skate 3

Syndicate

Mirror's Edge

Highly reccomend these games for those that haven't played them.

Xbox Live's Major Nelson » Xbox One System Update coming Feb 11 :

On February 11, the first update will be delivered to customers who sign into their Xbox One. It features many new improvements – including lots of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for Xbox One, several new features we believe Xbox fans will love, stability and product updates to improve the customer experience, and continuous improvements to the quality of Kinect voice so commands become more fluid and responsive over time. While we won’t be going into all of the details of the product updates today, we will be sharing more information soon.

Some of the features you can expect to see on February 11 include:

The ability to see and manage your storage space. With this update, you will find it easy to find how much space your content takes up and better manage your content. You can also control your install lineup and more easily manage your download queue. We’ve separated My Games and My Apps into separate lists, so you can easily create separate queues for both. Now you can pick the order in which you want your content to load and we’ve added a boot progress indicator so you can better track updates while they load.

The battery power indicator is back! You can see it right on the home screen, so you can easily track how much battery life is left on your controller.

And, you will be able to use your USB keyboard with your Xbox One.

These are just a few of the many updates we will be shipping on February 11. We’ll share more details on these and other upcoming features in the coming weeks. We have several surprises in store that we think you’ll love.

March 4 system updates – countdown to “Titanfall”

On March 4, in advance of what is expected to be the biggest game launch of the year, we will be delivering another system update to prepare your Xbox One for “Titanfall.” This update will contain many new features and improvements, most significantly to our party and multiplayer systems.

Victoryyyy only gripe is keyboar compatibility via usb? cool i guess but not including headsets via usb is a sign that it aint comin and they want us to buy new sets... if true :x

Thank god. This set up they have now is a horrid port of the windows tiles. Somewhere down the line is like a complete revamp of the online experience

All the folks who were able to attend EA"s Titanfall even had to sign NDA's and cant talk about it for about 2 weeks. :x

I NEED TO KNOW IT ALL!!!
Valentines Day that "beta" will be out for everyone :pimp: :pimp:

I damb sure hope it ain't no beta this close to release   it's all to build hype but I'm ready.. don't need another mess like BF4 pls EA don't do it you bums

So Valentine's Day is looking like Titanfall Beta, Olympic hockey, and NBA Allstar weekend?

Going to be alot of single guys by the 16th.

So let me also add, Season 2 of House of Cards on Netflix drops February 14th.

Not doing collectors.

The collectors box sounds cool but I simply cannot pay $250+ tax.

If it were the same price as say call of duty hardened and guaranteed DLC packs (I know respawn hasn't said anything about DLC... but lets be real 99% chance DLC will be released).

Nobody is doing anything special.

If you pre order at gamestop you get a horizontal poster..... i couldn't care less lol

It'd be really nice if they integrated the otherwise pretty useless "snap" menu into a manu similar to what we had with xbox 360.

Press the xbox button BOOM a "mini dash" slides open... lets u manage party /friends / messages. hit the xbox button again... BOOM slides away.

The idea of going to the full dashboard and then instantly picking up the game where you left off really sounded cool on paper.

But navigating through all kinds of menus (assuming the app you want to look at isnt on the recent list at the bottom) becomes cumbersome and irritating really quickly.

Thats why u pin the apps u use regularly to the dash.

My frequent stuff is pinned.

Just from a user experience stand point, things should be faster and more convenient if they're changed.

it simply isnt and the framework for it to be faster and more convenient is there.

Sliding up a mini dash to give you party, friends, active downloads, and achievements options. Much faster than dashboarding, going to my pinned apps, opening what ever app you need, etc.

Hopefully with the next update we would actually see friend login notifications.

THIS!!!

on xbox 360 it would get annoying every once in a while so i would turn it off...

would turn it back on in a matter of minutes.

I think the fact that it isnt even an option blows.

It's unbelievable is what it is. How do you not think of that???

Im sure they did, but with the addition of the amount of friends you can have, itd have gotten super annoying. Plus, what happens if you have 1000 friends, and lets say 25 log in within 20 seconds? You're going to have a full minute of seeing names pop up.

I think the fact that you cant turn it off and on is the issue.

People don't like being told no.

Also they can make the notifications only pop when someone in your "favorites" sign on.

I think that would be 100 times better than seeing everyone.
