And yeah I understand it's mp only and I'm damb glad it's that way cause ain't nobody got time for single player but from the lobbies I have been in people all talk wondering how much maps were in it the final game.. I was saying if it's less than 10 I will be disappoint considering it's only mp but knowing there may be 16 has me excite especially if they're as good as the two we've all got to play.

16 is great but we'll have to see the sizes and game type possibilities for each :nerd:

Is 16 maps really a lot?

Cod4 had 16 maps at launch.
 
I'm really like Titanfall but 6v6 is not going to cut it. I like fighting humans not grunts.

I understand why it's only 6v6 and that's because they don't want to flood the maps with Titans.
But they can just put a cap on how many titans a team can call or something.
Or everybody just can't call in a Titan at one time, just wait in line how COD does with choppers.

I agree about this slightly because when I'm running around and getting kills I'm think Km doing amazing but after the game all I see on my stats are like 15-20 kills off grunts/spectres and 10 for human players.

Cod4 had 16 maps at launch.
Halo 3 launched with 11 maps and mw2 had 16 and I believe gears 2 launched with 10. I use those 3 because they are my top mp shooters of last gen. So in comparison 16 is a pretty good number. Now of course like people will only play 6-7 of those maps over and over because some are gonna be more popular than others.

As for scale, you can head over to neogaf or look at some of the screenshots here. They're gonna have to be big enough to accommodate titans etc
 
I think I'm ok with 6v6 for now.

If they did 9v9 with the Mechs, all hell would break loose. Unless they put a cap on mechs for those games ...

Then they'd had to rename the game to Titan Stillwaitingto Fall.

It is annoying as crap when I want to call in a killstreak and the airspace is to full.

And Titans are a major part of the gameplay loop, it would be 10000x as annoying if I couldn't call in my Titan.

The solution the got now seems like the best compromise.
 
I'm not asking for 48 players. I think 12v12 would be perfect. And keep last titian standing at 6v6.
 
Grunts are pretty damb worthless :rofl:

It's funny seeing them drag and Kung fu roundhouse kick each other but they're like not even half decent.. They're just terrible. The game doesn't feel slow at all even with 6v6 and I think 12v12 is too much. Maybe somewhere in between like 8-9 but then there'd be too many titans and you'd have to make bigger maps.

As far as maps goes. If all 16 maps can play all game modes then 16 maps are a lot.. And if 16 maps are all good then even better.

6v6 is fine if the bots were gone.

8v8 for big team

12v12 for all out wars

Respawn said there are different types of A.I, so hopefully the get more challenging.

I think Respawn should make your teams bots upgradable. You spawn with the lowest levels, then as you team start to score points, you spawn better and better bots. Or even flip it, you getting dat work. Your bots get better.

But I got the feeling Respawn is saving ideas for the next game. One of the old leads even admit that the team cut out mechanics to save for the next game so they don't have to start from scratch designing the next game. COD4 to MW2 upgrade all over again

-And Titanfall 2 got me worried because 3 of their 5 design leads quit the team. But that's thinking to far ahead anyway

Or they have trueskill ranking playing a part in it. The lower your team's overall K/D you have better the bots, and opposite for a squad with a better K/D
