Ohhhh ok.

So the show being on the ps3 as well says so much.

You right.

And you're saying there will be a sequel, therefore good enough to pay 500 for :nerd:

Yeah, I know. People are going to satisfied with the ps3 version of the show and people are going to be satisfied with the 360 version of Titanfall.

No, I'm not saying it's good enough to pay 500. I'm saying if you're going to say it's good enough to pay $500 for, you can't honestly think there wouldn't be a sequel. There is going to be a sequel, let's not be dense.

But it's a game so many people on NT bought the system for.. Why not give them the same advice.

Maybe put this debate on hold until next month when TF drops on 360, then make comparisons

I doubt both versions will run the same, hence the 2 week delay for 360. As for The Show 14, well we've seen those comparisons

Titanfall is fun, but it's not something you play and say "only possible on next gen." The fact that there is a 360 version says as much. If a game is good enough to pay $500 for, there is going to be a sequel.

So the game is significant enough to buy a PS4 and wait a couple years for a possible sequel but not worth purchasing a Xbox One so you can play it in a couple weeks. Your bias has completely overtaken your ability to look at this with any sort of rational mindset.

The person in question already owns a PS4. I say pass on buying an xbone for titanfall. Get it?

It ******* sucks that PS4 owners have to wait on a potential PS4 Titanfall 2, but that's what happens when the 2 time worst company in america makes exclusivity deals with the 2nd best selling next gen console.

There's no doubt in my mind the ps4 version of it will be better. Just like there's no doubt in my mind the xbone version is going to be better than the 360.. And if he has a PC that's capable he should just buy the PC version

I actually hope TF stays an exclusive. If I do end up buying TF (cancelled my preorder) then Ill only want to play future installments on the same console I played the original. I'd never want to play Gears on PS, or Uncharted on Xbox...just me though

I wouldn't mind because TF wasn't made at first with the intention of being an exclusive

TBH if it didn't I would have probably kept my ps4 and never bought an xbone.

That was one reason and gears and halo

Its not so much I don't want them to bring it to PS4, its just I personally wouldn't want to play it because it'd feel natural on X1 for me. Now if there were some major improvements, or the difference in graphics were that noticeable then I'd probably make that switch but I doubt it'd be something that drastic

Seems like your stuck on what potentially could have been and what is.  Its an exclusive, been for a minute, why thats still an issue for some I'll never understand.

I agree with you that titanfall or any other game shouldn't be the sole reason to buy a console but I also suggest that everybody should play the game themselves and make that determination on their own.  I personally only play 1 game 90% of the time I play my Xbox One, does that mean I only bought my xbox to play that 1 game? Of course not but I enjoy it that much so I don't see why someone else couldn't enjoy playing Titanfall that much.

Why you guys even bother with going back and forth with dude is beyond me.

Dude's skin is probably made of salt how much he despises MS and loathes Sony even though neither knows of your existence nor cares about him :smh:

But you know them PS boys go hard for their console like Sony is cutting them a check or something.

He's still super butthurt that MS pulled Titanfall only to XB1, but I bet if it's the other way around or PS gets a super exclusive like Metal Gear or some crap then they're not evil nope they're not trying to take over the world.

Also, to say don't buy a system over a game you want to play is nonsense... that's what you want to play so buy the system and play it.

From look at Chris Smoove walkthrough of last of us I thought the game looked dope and wanted to play it, but it's a single player experience meaning it's not going to have much replay after you end it unless they drop DLC. Did I cry and go on a campaign pouting that people shouldn't buy a PS wait and see maybe Last of Us 2 might come out on 360 or XB1. I just knew that it didn't make sense to spend whatever a PS3 cost to play one game and then once it's done I wouldn't want to play it anymore.

amarano amarano To the OP I say Titanfall is most definitely worth the purchase of the XB1 bar none because look at the rave reviews it go on NT and you know we nitpick each and everything. Also, keep in mind you're going to have infinite amount of replay time with this game and you're probably going to be playing it over and over again. You play a game with a good single player experience then once you beat it it's not much else left for it.

With an FPS game the playback is limitless... even though the PS had good single player games last gen if you look at what was most played it was COD and other FPS games, and Xbox is flat out made and plays better when it comes to FPS games... look at MLG events all they rock with is MS consoles and the one time they tried PS3 is bombed and sucked... lag, response delay, and all the pros complained about it and now they're back to using only 360's or XB1.

If you can't or don't want both systems then sell the PS4 and get a XB1 and then if you don't like it or down the line you want to convert back then sell back the XB1 and get back a PS4 simple as that.

I just think it's better to buy a system with better multiplayer games with good online than it is for single player games because the replay for FPS and other mulitplayer games is endless where single player once you beat it then you're done with it. Not saying PS4 doesn't or won't have good multiplayer or FPS games, but that's sort of MS niche most in here say.

appreciate the responses. ill expand a little on my situation. i bought the ps4 because both my ps3 and 360 stopped working. i got caught up in the hype of the ps4 and had an opportunity to buy one and did. no regrets. ive never understood the whole "fan boy" thing. ive owned both and had good things to say about each. i had 360 first and got ps3 for the blu ray. i also play sports games on ps3 i just like the controller better for that. and im a HUGE player of The Show. so ps4 was a no brainer. i also got the ps4 over the xbox1 because of all that kinect and tv setup stuff that to me is unnecessary.

buying a system for 1 game is nothing new to me. i was always a playstation guy first. then i played halo and bought an xbox. just for halo. at the time, best purchase ever. the reason im contemplating it again is because of the bundle. free game. the game to get the system for (right now). plus i got two $100 amex gift cards for my birthday which softens the blow. in my mind.

so when i asked if Titanfall was worth $500 i was kind of being sarcastic. but kind of wasnt, because aside from a next gen halo, itd be the only game id get because i play sports games on PS. i should have just asked "Is Titanfall as good as everyone is making it out to be" because technically im not coming all out of pocket to play the game. plus i dont know how long the bundle will be available for. some of you got what im saying and there is a little truth to paying $500 for one game. eventually a lot of people buy 2 systems, eventually i would have gotten it. but is the game so good that i should get XB1 right now instead of a year from? thats kind of where i was coming from.

edit- oh and as for the game not having single player argument. the last 3 call of dutys ive gotten, i havent clicked campaign once.

I don't get this 'single player games have no replay value' thought that's been pushed in this thread. Now multiplayer games no doubt have more immediate replay value than single player games, no arguing that. But you dudes are acting like once you play a single player game once you'll never touch it again.

A good single player game can be timeless, a multiplayer game will be fun for 6 months until the next FPS comes out.

I've gone through TLOU 4 times the past 8 months. Gone through the entire Mass Effect trilogy over a dozen times combined. Went through MGS4 multiple times.

I go through the Kotor series at least once a year, same with the Metal Gear Solid series. I can still pick up Ico, Super Mario 64, Orcania Of Time, FF10, or one of the Metroid Prime games and enjoy myself as if the game just came out. What multiplayer games from the PS1/N64 era are people still playing today? Heck, what multiplayer games from 4 years ago do you feel you still have to play?

Again, by no means am I arguing Single player games replay value >>>>> Multiplayer games. But to act like Single players games have no replay value, is not true.

Well since you liked halo so much back then.. You probably know the Halo 2 anniversary is coming out for the xbone :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: followed by the new halo that they hopefully show at this e3

Dude let me put it this way...

If you got the money and you like FPS games copping that xb1 bundle w/ titanfall is a no brainer.

I played the alpha and beta builds and its one of the fastest pace, easy to learn, hard to master games I've ever played.

I dont see any reason why you would love it based on the post I quoted you on.

Go for it famb.. U wont regret it.

EDIT - Not to mention future halo releases
