But if I'm not mistaken, that is on the developers of the apps, not microsoft.

Quite frankly, if the delay means an Xfinity app that works more than half the time I'm willing to wait

Xfinity crashes on all my devices.... My wife's ipad and iphone, my galaxy note 3, and 360 :x

A restart should fire up the update.. maybe.

Mines set to Instant-on instead of power savings so the download should be done when I get home.

I turned it on and off and it didn't do anything. Does it make the screen look any different?

Last time we had an update it was that black screen with the green bar showing the download.

That's what I think happened. Either way like a said before, not really an "update" more like "stuff we couldn't get on yet"

Got the refurbed A40s in the mail from amazon today.

Surprisingly came in a nice box.. Thought it'd be some chitty brown box but it's similar to the box they have in stores except it says refurbed on it

Don't forget- with the firmware update, you now have to update your controller as well.

Well you don't have to update it, but if you want to be able to use other headsets you do.

Also open friends if it goes to friend feed then nope.

If I scroll all the way right in friends feed and it says I can start a party, does that mean it updated?

Friends screen makes a lot more sense with the update. MS did good with this uodate imo. Although Idk why it wasn't like this on release.
