The xbox is brand new ... I just installed a Lego game for my son and it plays fine. I looked at the disk and no scratches .. It was playing just fine when I first got it. Not sure why now. All the Digital DL are playing fine as well.


I just woke up one day and the game sound was gone and then the next day the game was super choppy.

Prbly corrupted data. My tomb raider loads up, but freezes once I click continue game.

You might want to erase it and install it again

did that 3 times already ... Joint making me mad.

Takes for ever to install to. I just finally went back to GS and got another copy, if it doesn't work, then I'm taking the XBOX back.

I just got the true ending to Arkham Knight

Considering you have to collect all those damn riddles, it was kind of weak.

Overall I'll give the game an 8.5.

Disks?  I couldn't imagine still keeping track of disks.

That'd be like still burning new music to a cd-r.  This isn't 2004.

come to think of it... my MBP doenst even have a CD drive

and my gaming PC is positioned where the CD drive is drive is facing against the desk so I can easily access the power and USB inputs

The struggle was real back then.  I remember stocking up on tdk cd-r packs when they'd go on sale.

I've seen grown men fighting each other over someone not returning a borrowed cd.

Why would we want to go back to those times?  Digital media all the way.

If I get a game for more than $30, I prefer discs.

You can't get your pulp fiction on with digital.

Through gamesharing, I've been buying more multiplats on the ps4.

Ironically, I bought a ps4 for it's exclusives.

Now that I think about, my ps4 collection is 85% digital.

I just got another CD and still the same issue. I'm about to return the One for another one today.


So once the game is installed, you don't need the CD anymore?

@IJumpmanI  great games lastnight man what a crazy run we went on Scoring 5,7,6 Goals to get to the championship. That was such a BS game man ahah but its all good well get them back 

we got "xbox Record that" for days our passing was killing teams

No. Its kinda like PC games. You always have to install, but you still need the CD to run the game each time.
Im a hardcopy guy most of the time, but it kinda takes the point away from it, if you still have to do the lengthy install

u need the CD to play it.

Its the way M$ authenticates your game.

Otherwise the disk folk could just cop a game, install it, return it, and flourish as though they are digital folk.

for some reason the Lego game doesn't need the disk one installed.

I used to be all digital but I got burned a few too many times. Mainly with forza horizon 2 nd Halo. Forza is a fine game, but I really could've just rented it and been done with it after I beat it. And halo was broken which was a headache getting the digital refund

Now I just will buy a game from gamester, beat it and then trade it in and repeat the process
