The Witcher 3 was my GOTY until the latest patch introduced a ton of bugs :smh:

There's some quests you can't even complete due to glitches.

Destiny doesn't have much content and the majority of the gameplay is busy work until you can get to little end game content thats available.

I've played the game since launch though, ran all raids and have all 3 dlcs.  Even with everything thats wrong with the game it still has higher replay value than games like Batman.

Oh Destiny is a full-fledged RPG now, is it?

You guys are rascals.

Its a first person shooter action roll playing game. das fax my guy.

Its not a full fledged RPG but when activision says stuff like
Personalize and upgrade every aspect of how you look and fight with a nearly limitless combination of armor, weapons, and visual customizations. Take your upgraded character into every mode, including campaign, cooperative, social, public, and competitive multiplayer.
You get to expecting that....

Destiny probably offers a lot more than it did last September and I get tempted to open it up every now and again...

and then i dont

maybe one day :nerd:

Thats actually what bugged me so much about Destiny, and why I sold it 3 weeks in. Bungie didn't know what type of game it wanted to sell to people
Not a true RPG, not a true MMO, not a true FPS
Jack of all Trades, master of none.

To me, MMO mechanics are FLAT OUT GARBAGE.
The only reason people tolerate limited weekly locked content, timed raids, rescaled economy, rescaled weapons etc. is because it keeps a level playing field in a persistent world server.

Destiny has no persistent world, and no permanent shared servers. There is no community at all, except off-console sources, and there isn't even adequate matchmaking. Theres no reason to limit the experience by this typical MMO style.

The actual gameplay experience is a pretty fun, Halo Co-Op style action.
But the deliberate choke-points of content, and the endless rescaling of economy/weapons makes any achievement meaningless, because your just stuck on the treadmill

That extra $20 isn't justifiable just for skins
Gonna wait and see if something else is included later before I buy

I can pretty much agree with all of what you said.

I just find is really confusing how some games/developers get away with promising and not meeting expectations, while some are chastised for it.
