I WISH i would have gotten my $150 astros before going through 4 $60 turtle beaches

Felt like an idiot spending so much more money in the long run only fooling myself

Yea, I had two pairs of TBs before my bae (Astros) came into my life

Damn next headset I get will def be astros, yall selling it indirectly crazy lol

Yes...join the darkside.....

Well like everything at some point you get what you pay for but there's always that sweet spot where cost and quality meet. Astros IMO are that. TB headphones are horribly put together.

This, TBs have poor quality and they press my temples really hard. I couldnt wear them for prolonged periods of time

How are the XB1 made Astro A40's going to work now that they changed the bottom of the controller?

I know the A40 that they specifically made for XB1 has that big piece that plugs in to the bottom and eliminates the chat adapter and the Astro A40 mixamp.

But, now that MS decided to go back to the 3.5 mm jack like the 360 does that make the headsets obsolete if you get the new controller... not talking about the $100 Elite controller.

I assume you will just need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for the XB1. The 360 controller had a 2.5 IIRC

I've probably had about 5 pairs of Tritons and TBs since MW2 :smh:. My current pair of TBs is still holding strong, but they're only about a year old . The only game I really use them for is COD, and I haven't had fun with the last two games. I feel like I'm kinda growing out of it. This will probably be my last headset :frown:. If I ever catch some Astros on discount I'll definitely think of picking them up though, the way you guys talk them up.

I had one pair of Tritons, they still working, solid pair also but I can only use them on a 360 controller.

The Tritons were definitely the lowest quality pair I've had. Copped them with Xmas money when I was a freshman in college and one of the earpieces snapped off before Spring Break .

Nah mine were decent, it was like the xbox adapter also I could change the levels of game and voice. They still work actually.

I posted A40 Astros being sold with the mix amp brand new for $120 a while back on here, and no one cared. Now you guys want them though, funny :nerd:

And the a30s we're $80. Crazy steal and no one cared

Look into Polk Audio headphones. They make solid gaming headphones for sure.

Oh you're team Polk also? A couple of my homies and myself are. Mad I paid full price I copped when they first dropped

Yea man. They were founded in bmore and I worked in the engineering department as an intern and a tech before I graduated college. Have a lot of exposure to their stuff. Love that company man. I still test some smaller product like headphones but I used to get all the goods man.

I heard Polk were nice. I should check those out.

Believe me, if I didn't get those A50s for Free.99 I definitely wouldn't have them. $300 for some gaming headphones!? :wow:

Ordered the updated xb1 controller($41) from buy.com yesterday, got it today.

IDK how it happened, but

Going back to the MGS discussion yesterday, IGN did a ranking and posted it today.

http://ca.ign.com/articles/2015/08/...al-gear-games?abthid=55ca90d09f4d62e41100002e

1. MGS3 Snake Eater
2. MGS
3. Peacewalker
4. MGS 2
5. MGS 4
6. MG2
7. GZ
8. MG

1 and 2 are almost interchangeable but I'd personally out mgs1 over 3. 3 is awesome but some parts are just lack luster. The bosses of the game were just there for the most part. The pain, the fear, the end, the space guy (forgot his name) were all just throw away characters you didn't care for. The eating and healing system was pretty useless. Mgs1 was pretty much flawless.

4 should be t the very bottom because you don't even play that game, you just watch it. GZ is a demo that doesn't even belong on a list of complete games

Does Diablo 3 have a big online community or is it dead like the computer version?
define dead. I don't play pc.

I just loaded up diablo 3. I was able to find 2 games in 5min, but those games only had 1 other person.

I've had the game for a while, but I've never played online with more than 1-2 other players.

Usually you have to play on the tougher difficulites(to find people) because you get better drops.

Nonetheless, it's one of my fav. games.

The bumpers on the updated controller are clicker. You can click them from any angle now.

From what I read, they update wirelessly now.
